The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Lotion Review

There is a whole range launched in the Fuji Green Tea variety and I have reviewed the sorbet from this range. I liked the fragrance so much that I decided to pick up the lotion as well. Here is the review of the same.

My Experience with The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Lotion:

The packaging is simple plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The body is transparent so the quantity can be kept a
check on. The details about the product is mentioned on the sticker attached to the body of the bottle. The pump dispenser can be locked to avoid spilling but owing to the 250ml size, it is difficult to carry it along in trips. The lock mechanism of the pump was a nice addition to the packaging. You might take some out in a travel jar for the weekend trips.

After using the sorbets from The Body Shop I was not ready to bring back lotions in my life. But due to the overwhelming smell of the Fuji Green Tea variant, I thought of giving this a try. I must say this lotion unlike regular lotions has a light texture which does not feel oily/sticky on application. There is an initial cooling sensation which is a huge pro for me as I am not a big fan of thick lotions. There is simply nothing felt on the skin, non sticky, non oily, yet takes cares of the hydration.

The smell is awesome to say the least; I can sniff this all day long. The good part is it is balanced fragrance. You will never feel nauseated with the smell. It is not overpowering. The staying power of the smell is around 2-3 hours. And the skin stays hydrated for more than 6 hours. I stay in a hot humid place but I believe this is good for people with normal skin. Dry skin people will need more dose of moisture.

Only a little amount is required each time due to the texture of the lotion; hence the bottle is going to last for a very long time. This is one must have fragrance from TBS and you have to try this to know why I think you will fall in love with this too. I have only good things to say about this.

Cons of The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Lotion:

• Price on higher side (but again it is TBS).
• Not for people with very dry skin.
