Bronzers are gaining a lot of importance these days and I had picked up a bronzer long ago which was hiding in my stash. I was spring cleaning my stuff and throwing away the expired stuff, that’s when I found it. I did not see a review on this, so thought of reviewing this since the festive season is around and everyone would crave for a glow!

My Experience with The Body Shop Honey Bronze Brilliance Powder 02 Copper:
Packaging: The bronzer from The Body Shop is slightly different than the already existing bronzers. This bronzer comes in a stick form and the lid opens, revealing the brush. The packaging is bronzy brown in colour which totally resembles the range “Honey Bronze”. The stick bottle is easy to carry and easy to use as well. There are 2 shades available, one looks more of a highlighter and this shade “02 Copper” is more of a bronzer. It is easy to apply since all I have to is swipe the brush on my face and the bronzer gets deposited. The brush is a good quality one. The bristles are dense and soft, leading to a perfect application each time.
Shade, pigmentation and look: The shade “02 Copper” is a perfect bronze shade with a little gold shimmers that give my face a warm glow. I use it only on the cheeks and décolletage area. The shade is perfect to be called a bronzer for the Indian skin-tone. It gives me a glow which looks really nice. But the pigmentation is just okay. I have to swipe it a lot of times to get that warm colour on my cheeks.
It looks really good on me and gives me that sun-kissed look. But this bronzer does not look very good with a lot of makeup since it is very warm. Hence it has to be used along with subtle makeup only. It works well for normal to oily skin and does not break me out but the colour will cling a bit to the dry areas on the face. So you need to moisturise your face if you have dry skin.
Staying power: The staying power is very disappointing. It does not stay on my face on its own for more than 2 hours. The shine lightens and so does the colour of the bronzer. With the base makeup, it lasts for just an hour more, and such a low staying power at this price is really bad.
Overall: A good product, but doesn’t stay for long!

Will I Repurchase/Recommend The Body Shop Honey Bronze Brilliance Powder 02 Copper?
No, I wouldn’t. This bronzer is not worth the money. I have used better bronzers and will continue to find some good ones.
I feel the The Body Shop’s skincare and haircare products are far better than their makeup ranges.
