The Body Shop, Honeymania Hand Cream Review

The Body Shop, Honeymania Hand Cream Review

Hello everyone……

Since winters are here I have been picking up hand creams very diligently. With all the work that we do with our hands and added to that the extreme temperature variations that we have been on the receiving end, our hands do require special pampering.

Recently I had been using Glazed Apple hand cream from The Body Shop and along with that I also picked up Honeymania hand cream. The fragrance of the hand cream was so awesome that I had to take it. It also had a beautiful picture of a honeycomb with honey, which is a great moisturizing product. So it was a sure shot pick me up.

Packaging:

The hand cream has a simple golden colored tube packaging with silver linings on the end. I found the tube to be very travel friendly. The black cap makes sure that once it is on there is no cream spillage. The cream is very lightweight and smooth textured, with pale brown hue.

Price:

1 oz.(30 ml) tube is priced at $6.

My experience with The Body Shop, Honeymania Hand Cream:

As I mentioned the fragrance took my breath away. It has a sweet floral smell which does not exactly smell very much like honey, but equally good. It provides a decent moisturization as it has honey, which comes from Community Fair trade, Ethopia and Shea butter from Ghana. As soon as I apply the hand cream all of the cream gets absorbed in my skin. Hence, I have kept this product in my office as it does not have any greasy feel at all. I can start handling papers or typing on keyboards without fear of leaving oily traces. As you can see in my swatch there is not trace of the cream at all.

However I have very dry skin so after an hour or so I need to reapply the cream again. The fragrance is so good that I do not mind it. 🙂 But I would have been happier if it could have given moisturization for more extensive time frame. However, as I really liked the fragrance of Honeymania I think I would also be picking other product from the Honeymania range too. 🙂

Pros of The Body Shop, Honeymania Hand Cream:

  • Very good floral fragrance.
  • Immediate absorption of cream in skin after application.
  • Suitable for use if you need to work immediately without waiting.
  • Very good hand cream if you have oil or normal skin.
  • Does not leave any greasy texture.
  • Travel friendly packaging.

Cons of The Body Shop, Honeymania Hand Cream:

  • Requires constant reapplication in an hour
  • Does not provide extensive moisturization for dry skin.

IMBB Rating:

4 out of 5. The -1 is for the moisturization that it failed to provide to my dry skin.

Would I repurchase The Body Shop, Honeymania Hand Cream?

Though I really like the product I would not be buying the same hand cream.
Body shop has around 10 different variations of hand creams so I would pick one of each and trying it out . 🙂
