The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet Review

The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet Review

Hello lovelies,

I have been an ardent TBS fan, mainly because rarely the products fail on me.  Also, the smell of the shower gels, lotions, body butters are way too tempting. I think I was missing out on checking new stuff as I always repurchased my favorites. The last trip to the store, I decided to look around for some new launches and this Body Sorbet in the Moringa variety caught my attention.

My Experience with The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet:

There were 3 variants available in the sorbet range, the other two being Satsuma and Strawberry.  I picked this up just as random. I was sure that I am not picking up strawberry, but both Satsuma and Moringa are my favorites, so picking up just anyone would be fine for me.

The packaging is pretty interesting. The tube is matte in texture and the cap is made of plastic, but is matte as well. I love how different it feels and looks. There is something really soothing and calming about the packaging. The details about the product is mentioned on the tube. The cap is flip top and is pretty functional. Being a bit chubby in size, this is not very travel friendly. You might take some out in a travel jar for the weekend trips.

The texture is something absolutely new to me. To start off the sorbet feels like fluffy mousse which on rubbing for a while turns to gel=like consistency and finally it absorbs into skin like nothing. On initial application, there is a cooling sensation which is a huge pro for the hot humid summers. The word “sticky” stays miles away from this. There is simply nothing felt on the skin, no greasiness, not oily, yet takes cares of the hydration.

The smell is overwhelming. If you like the moringa smell, you will keep on sniffing it all day long. The good part is that it’s a balanced fragrance.  You will never feel nauseated with the smell. It is not overpowering. The staying power of the smell is around 2 hours and the skin stays hydrated for more than 6 hours. I stay in a hot humid place, but I believe this is good for the summers for people with normal skin. Dry skin people will need more dose of moisture.

This is HG material for me and I am hooked on to this. I think I will be repurchasing this each and every time I run out of lotions. Only a little quantity is required hence the tube is going to last for a very long time. This is one must-have product from TBS and you have to try this to know why I think you will fall in love with this too. I have only good things to say about this.

  1. Sounds like a good option for the summers! The place where I stay is also pretty humid. Will definitely check this out! Well reviewed, Rashmita! 🙂
