How are you all doing?
I’m a shower gel person, so much so; that at the moment, my bathroom rack has 5 different shower gels stacked on it. 😛 I use them per my mood in the morning. 😛 I picked up The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel to add to my ever growing list of the shower gels that I’ve used.
Here’s the review for you all:
First used in Ayurvedic medicine some 4,000 years ago, moringa seed oil comes from the moringa tree, which is native to northern India. It is known as the “miracle tree” due to its wide variety of beneficial uses. In Ayuveda, it is used as a natural antibiotic, an aid in childbirth and for treating liver problems. But that’s not all. The oil was highly treasured by the ancient Roman, Greek and Egyptian civilizations for use in protecting the skin and making perfume. It was so good they even used it to create their own skin smoothing product! This soap-free shower gel contains real moringa seed oil and has the delicate scent of white flowers.
• Delicate floral scent

My experience with The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel:
The shower gel comes in the standard TBS packaging of a transparent bottle with a flip open cap. The bottle is sturdy, travel friendly and hygienic to use. It is also recyclable. The shower gel smells strongly of the Moringa flowers, the fragrance is very floral almost like jasmine flowers, few with a sensitive nose might not be able to put up with this as it can be quite overriding for them. Like most of the other variants of The Body Shop shower gels, the fragrance of this one stays with you for a few hours even after you have stepped out of the shower.
The shower gel looks golden yellow in the bottle but when you pour it in your hands you see just a hint of color. The texture is just perfect for a shower gel, and is on the runny side. I use it with a loofah, it lathers up very well and a little goes a long way so this one will last you fairly long. It washes off easily without leaving any greasy film behind. I always end up using a light moisturizer post bath as I have dry skin; some of you may want to skip this step as this one won’t rip your skin off its existing moisture.
Pros of The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel:
• Nice floral smell.
• Doesn’t rip the skin off its existing moisture.
• Cleanses effectively.
• Doesn’t leave a greasy film behind.
• Travel friendly and sturdy packaging.
• Small quantity required for a single use.
• Cruelty free product.
• Recyclable packaging.
Cons of The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel:
• Sensitive noses may find it a little overbearing.
• Availability might be an issue for some.
• Could be pricey for some.
Will I recommend The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel?
Sure, if you are into strong floral smells.
Will I repurchase The Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel?
Yes, I will.
