I am back to India and I must say Bangalore is the hottest this year, which makes me feel sick and week all the time. I hope soon the rains will start and the rain drops will bring relief to us. Talking about drops today I am going to review Drops of youth from TBS for you all. From the time I included serum in my skin care routine my combination to oily skin loved it over moisturizer or cream. I have used Lakme and pond’s serum in past and both gave me very satisfactory results. So this time I thought of going the natural way and gave The Body Shop’s Nutriganics Drops of Youth a try.

My Experience with The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth:
To start with, once you are in late 20s and nearing 30s you want all the anti-aging things to work on you don’t have very significant signs of aging but what you are trying to do with anti-aging products is buying out some time. So coming to this product, this clear thick consistency serum is very quick to absorb in skin and leaves no oiliness behind. It moisturizes the skin but leaves skin matte, which is great for oily skin. But dry skin might need to use a moisturizer additionally. For one application 2 drops does the work. My combination to oily skin feels soft and hydrated after the use. However it gives no tightness or pore reduction as my previous serums did. I am using it for almost a month and still I don’t see any significant changes to my skin. It works as a great hydrator and prepares skin well for foundation application but no anti-aging effects. The fine lines on my forehead and pore on my nose are still as much visible as before.
It comes in a green glass bottle with dropper head, which makes the packaging very hygienic. But the dropper is hard to use sometimes when you are in hurry or trying to use it with only one hand. It is almost fragrance free. Its parabeen and silicon free which is an added advantage. So if you have combination to oily skin or oily skin and looking for good hydrator and have no issue spending money go for this. However if you have dry skin, and looking to see some anti-aging benefits from this serum then just stay away.
Pros of The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth:
• Skin feels hydrated, supple, and smooth.
• Works as great primer for oily skin.
• Hygienic packaging.
• Natural extracts.
• Parabeen and silicon free.
Cons of The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth:
• Results take long to show up.
• No significant anti-aging effects seen.
• Pricey for what it does.
• Not sufficient hydration for dry skin.
