The Body Shop Detangling Spray details

My Experience with The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Detangling Spray:

The spray comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a nozzle dispenser and a transparent cap. The details are mentioned on the body as usual. I find the packaging to be pretty handy as the spray-style packaging does the job well of spreading the product on the hair. Though it is slightly bulky, it is quite travel friendly in my opinion.

The texture of the spray is like water. There is no color or consistency to it that’s worth mentioning. It has a distinct fragrance to it which lingers on for a while after spraying on the product. Thankfully, it does not weigh down the hair, nor does it create a sticky layer on the hair strands. I apply it on dry and damp hair as well and the results have been different.

The Body Shop Detangling Spray packaging

Coming to the effectiveness of the product, I have to say, I am quite disappointed. I tried it on damp hair and it gives a wee bit of hydration which is not enough if you skip the conditioner. Removing the difficult tangles requires extra effort and I could not really see anything great done by the spray. Also, when I tried it on dry hair, it just made my hair wet and added just the amount of moisture required to comb through. If you think it is worth the money spent then, I would completely disagree with you. I was actually looking for something as good as the Schwarzkopf spray conditioners, if not better, considering the “detangling” claim.

Pros of The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Detangling Spray:

  • Handy packaging.
  • Effective nozzle spray.
  • Meant for colored hair.
  • Does not weigh down hair.

Cons of The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Detangling Spray:

  • Not worth the price.
  • Does not detangle really.
  • Not effective on dry hair.
  • Does not condition well.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Detangling Spray?
I would neither repurchase nor recommend this detangling spray as I did not find it to be extraordinary. If you like the concept, go for the Schwarzkopf Gliss Spray conditioner.
