The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator Review

Hello IMBB Readers! 🙂

Air is warming up a bit now and I am so happy about it. The temperature went in minus here for the first time in my life and made really hard for me get out of my cozy bed, it was freaking cold! Early mornings are still foggy, but sun shines brightly during noon. Today, I am going to review The Body Shop’s Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator. My Himalaya’s Neem Face Scrub got over last month. It worked okay for my skin, wanted to try something new and so I decided to pick one from The Body Shop. The SA suggested me to go for Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator as I have combination skin type.

TBS Seaweed

My Experience with The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator:

I am using this product since three weeks and loving it! It is a soap-free, gel-based cleanser with jojoba micro beads and olive stone granules. It deep cleanses pores and removes dead cells really well without being harsh to my sensitive-combination skin.

Seaweed Exfoliator

The fragrance is very refreshing and a pea-sized amount is enough. I use it thrice a week and I am sure that the tube will last around 5-6 months. It lathers up when I rub it on my face and neck in a circular motion with damp hands and washes off easily leaving the skin smooth and soft.

It doesn’t over-dry, doesn’t leave any kind of residue or film behind and doesn’t strip away the skin’s natural oils. The most important thing that there were no breakouts! My skin being sensitive is prone irritation, redness and breakouts, but none of this happened while using The Body Shop’s Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator. I don’t use any face wash/cleanser before using this exfoliator.

Exfoliating

Pros of The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator:

  • Soap-free.
  • Deep cleanses pores.
  • Exfoliates very well being gentle on the skin at the same time (unless you scrub it really hard).
  • Doesn’t over-dry my skin.
  • Pea-sized amount is enough.
  • Doesn’t leave any residue behind.
  • Doesn’t irritate or breakout my sensitive-combination skin.
  • Its key ingredients are jojoba oil and wild harvested seaweed, the former absorbs oil, unclogs pores and the latter being non-oily provides hydration.
  • Refreshing fragrance.

Cons of The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator:

  • Few may not like the fragrance.
  • Price is on the higher end.

IMBB Rating:

Will I Repurchase The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator?

This seems to be the best exfoliator I have ever used. I have explored only 4-5 face scrubs till date. I will definitely repurchase it if I don’t come across something better than this. I highly recommend it for combination skin types.
