The Body Shop Spa Fit : Gel Cream Massager, Body Scrub, Massage Oil Review

The Body Shop Spa Fit Range

Hi Everyone, 🙂

I had been wanting to try The Body Shop Spa Fit range for the longest time. I think the packaging was so attractive that I’d always get tempted. Anyway, I have been using these 3 products from the Spa Fit Range – Smoothing and Refining Body Scrub, Firming and Toning Gel Cream Massager, Spa Fit toning Massage Oil for almost a month now.

Here’s my experience about these products. But before I start I would like to mention that these toning products should be used in combination with a workout and a healthy lifestyle. If you use such products just on their own , they might not work for you or may work verrryyy slowly for you.

The Body Shop Spa Fit Smoothing and Refining Body Scrub:

Claims :

This zesty citrus scrub contains 100% natural-origin citrus ingredients. It refines skin’s texture, and will leave it looking smoother and feeling firmer.

• Refines and smoothes
• Zesty citrus scent
• With lemon and grapefruit essential oils

Price : Rs 2295 for 200 ml

My Experience :

The first thing I love about all these products is their amazing citrusy fragrance. It is sooo relaxing and soothing to my senses. I love it!  The texture is like pulped fruit with soft granules. It turns whitish upon application with water. The scrub is gentle enough to massage and the granules are coarse enough that would get rid of dead skin cells. I have used this scrub specially on my legs and thighs and my skin has never felt soo soft and even before. It leaves my skin buttery soft. I have dry skin so it leaves my skin moisturised and soft. I have had a bit of cellulite at the back of my thighs at the back and that has totally gone away. It was nothing major but I can totally notice a difference in how my thighs look. It of course helps with the ingrown hair but that any other scrub would also do.

This also contains caffeine that helps with the detoxification and cellulite reduction. I would say a good home made coffee scrub can be a replacement for this. But this is more ingredients that would help you with skin polishing.

I use this scrub every other day and honestly, I haven’t enjoyed using another other body scrub as much as I love using this one. I love how my skin feels and looks after using this.

The only issue  is that I have to use a lottt of water to get rid of the product completely.

The Body Shop Spa Fit Toning Massage Oil

Price : 1295 for 50 ml

Claims : This moisturising massage oil contains 100% natural-origin citrus ingredients. It will leave skin looking smoother and more toned. For best results, use with other products in the Spa Fit range.
• Smoothes and tones
• Zesty citrus scent
• With lemon and grapefruit essential oils

My Experience :

This is probably my least favourite product of the three. It is a light weight body massage oil. It moisturises the skin without leaving any greasiness behind. It smells amazingly of citrus and keeps my skin hydrated all day long. I use it post scrubbing. You don’t need a lot of it. It come sin a simple easy to use packaging.

But if I have to repurchase this, I might not. I don’t find it too great. It’s nice but can be skipped.

The Body Shop Spa Fit Toning Gel Cream Massager

Price : 2,695 for 200 ml

Claims : This zesty gel-cream is a wake-up call for the body. Use it with its integrated massage applicator to leave skin feeling firmer and looking more toned.
• Makes skin feel firmer
• Leaves skin looking more toned
• Integrated massage applicator
• Caffeine and citrus ingredients
• Zesty scent

My Experience :

My absolute favourite product of the 3. It is a gel cream toning gel that comes packed in a squeeze tube and a twist up massage tool. Love the citrusy fragrance. Love the massage and how it feels on skin.  I used it mostly on my stomach and side handle area. But it is great to use on thighs as well. It is a while gel like product that gets spread easily on the skin and the twist close the tube and massage your body parts. It feels cooling on the skin and leaves the skin sooo smooth and soft. It definitley has made my skin looking smooth. I wouldn’t say that it has helped much in the toning part but it really helped in making my stomach area look smoother and softer. The massager is made up of a rubbery material so it’s gentle to use.

It makes the whole bathing experience so amazing- leaves skin soft, gives that lovely cooling feeling and you are actually spending some time on specific areas of the body (forcibly). The ingredients list is really good.

I would start using this for my thighs as well now. I had to review the products so I was using them on different areas to see the results.

I am extremely happy with the gel and the scrub. I look forward to using them every other day. My body skin has never felt or looked this good since the time I have using them. Also, the citrusy fragrance makes bathing a very refreshing experience. 🙂

I just find them a bit bulky to travel with. I wish they came in travel size packs as well.

I would like to mention that you live a healthy life style and work out plus use these kind of toning products, the whole combo would work great for your overall well being. 🙂
