The Body Shop Spa of the World Dead Sea Salt Scrub Review

Body Skin Type- Normal
The Spa of the World range did not make much noise considering the high price tag but trust me on this, they are worth every penny. I loved the Polynesian Monoi Oil and then I picked two more products from the range. Here is the review of my favorite product from the range, read on to know more!
the body shop dead sea salt body scrub

Price – Rs 2495/- for 350ml

Product Description:
Dead Sea salt is precious for its high mineral content and its coarse crystals, the perfect texture to reveal fresher-looking skin and stimulate circulation when massaged into skin. Use this invigorating scrub as part of our revitalising ritual when you want your body and mind to feel instantly re-energised.

– Resurfacing body scrub.
-Exfoliates skin leaving feeling refreshed
-Revitalises body and mind
-With sea salt from the Dead Sea.

How to Use:
Massage vigorously on wet skin in circular motions, focusing on dry areas like elbows and knees. Rinse off then towel dry.

My Experience with The Body Shop Spa of the World Dead Sea Salt Scrub:

The scrub comes in a huge tub; it is really not necessary to have such a big tub for 350ml but I believe they aimed at keeping the range fancy. I really do not mind the tub packaging as I am not travelling with such a big tub. The details are mentioned at the base and body of the tub. One good thing about the packaging is that the body is not glass.

The texture of the scrub is like having raw salt granules in thick butter. It is very difficult to spread a lot of the product especially on dry skin. On wet skin the scrub spreads like dream. It has these uneven granules which effectively scrubs the skin and slowly melts on massaging for a while. There is a milky layer left on the skin after all of the scrub melts on the skin.

The scrubs leaves the skin ultra smooth and supple. On washing off there is a thin moisturizing layer left on the skin which feels very comfortable if you have dry skin, especially on the elbows and knees. You can totally skip moisturizing the skin as it really adds the dose of moisture. For my normal body-skin type, I really love how it hydrates the skin. The best part is the fragrance which is so spa-like that you really feel relaxed and rejuvenated. I was pleasantly surprised that the fragrance stays on for more than 10 hours at a stretch which is unimaginably wonderful. If you like pampering yourself and enjoy body scrubs, this is something you should not miss!

Pros of The Body Shop Spa of the World Dead Sea Salt Scrub:

• Lovely texture.
• Yummy fragrance.
• Little goes a long way.
• Great for all skin types.
• Fragrance stays up to 10 hours (no kidding!).

Cons of The Body Shop Spa of the World Dead Sea Salt Scrub:

• Super expensive.
• Bulky tub packaging.

IMBB Rating – 4.75/5
