The Body Shop Strawberry Polish

What I love about The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish?

  • It smells yummy just like fresh crushed strawberries.
  • It’s a very gentle exfoliator. I generally don’t like harsh exfoliators except for my feet. Also my skin gets very dry if I use apricot or walnut scrubs (read Himalaya) on my body. This has soft kiwi and walnut exfilators that are gentle on the skin.
  • It lathers well. I use it with my yellow pom pom and it makes my whole bath experience super cute. πŸ˜›
  • Even after bathing the fresh fruity smell lingers on for a while.
  • I like how big the tube it. It is good enough to last you for a two months considering that you use it twice or thrice a week. However it is so tempting, I guess I am going to finish this up very soon.
  • Comes in a tube so you can control the quantity of the product that you want to use.

What I don’t love about The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish?

  • It is so addictive that you want to finish it up within a week and purchase another tube. πŸ˜›

I love it and I also want to try this out the Satsuma Body Polish (Orange).

The product has SLS in it but I’ll forgive it this time. πŸ™‚

Have you tried the Body Shop’s Body Polish?

PS: Net wasn’t working the whole day today so couldn’t post the article and now I am sitting in some other part of the town so can use only the official image. Will post the real pics asap.

  1. Awww…so sweet of u for the credits πŸ™‚

Only thing I dont like abt this is the “addiction” part…i know how it feels as i have been thru’…

no intentions to scare you, but are you sure u wanna try satsuma? do you like punchy citrus scents? do you remember the drink Rasna? did u ever taste it in orange flavor? satsuma is somewhere nearer to Rasna orange, but so damn pungent….i almost faint every time and something happens in my head whenever i inhale the scent…

funny part; u dont have to go in search of satsuma…if u are near or around, it will obviously call you for attention….i cant take the smell from my luggage……its too strong for my liking, but tats a difference experience again πŸ™‚ who knows? u might like it better…

    1. You know I checked out both the fragrances before buying but since strawberry is always closer to the heart, I picked it up. I will surely give satsuma a try becasue I think it deserves it. πŸ˜› I loved the fragrance of my Fab India bitter orange spray so the satsuma might work for me.

      Rasna orange. :rotfl:

  2. Right now, I’m not in a strawberry phase at all. But I’m still SO tempted by your review! Not to mention by the rich, luscious deep red of the product itself :inlove: Yummmm!

      1. I have a shopping trip planned next week, and I’ll most probably pick one up! It’s just waaayy too tempting! πŸ˜›

  3. Sounds so lovely, just like the other strawberry products from TBS:P (thanks for explaining)
Should really pay a visit soon. Just bought fresh strawberries, can’t stop eating! If there is some left I’ll try that strawberry/honey mask tomorrow. Oh and I want to tell you once again: I’m so happy with my hair, yesterday at school I got a lot of compliments about it, just following your tips can do that:D
.-= sunaina´s last blog ..World inspired colours =-.

    1. oh wow, Suanaina. πŸ™‚ That’s a lovely compliment and I am so happy that it worked for you. :hugleft:

This is a lovely product and now I am addicted to it. Geee…

      1. Hmm..

I think its a personal preference Rati. Since you love the bitter orange spray, you could just give a trial at the store..and maybe walk around for some time with the fragrance and then buy.

Actually I love citrusy smells, but only the natural ones..Recently I happened to smell the St.Ives Citrus bodywash and was almost on the verge of puking. But the vanilla and oatmeal smelled yumm.. I use a lot of orange EO in diffusers, but somehow seem to detest products that claim to have citrus in them.

  8. This is one product I have been addicted to for the last two years or so! I recently bought the Satsuma Shower Gel and Puree Lotion, so decided to buy the Satsuma Body Polish instead of my usual Strawberry one. I like the Satsuma range, the smell took a little getting used to, but I prefer the Strawberry Body Polish for sure. As far as smells go I think Wild Cherry has been my favorite line from TBS πŸ™‚

BTW, great blog, will be a regular visitor here now onwards πŸ™‚

  9. Hi Sunayna,

  17. Hi

I would definitely try the satsuma range – I absolutely love it, and the fragrance lingers on for a couple of hours. Don’t let the other reviews put you off.
