The Body Shop Strawberry Body Sorbet Review

Today I’m reviewing a product from our beloved, TBS! I recently on a shopping spree on the online store of The Body Shop and bought like at least 10 things 😀 Anyway, I bumped into the Strawberry Body Sorbet and I was intrigued. I had NO clue as to what it really was like because it looked a lot different as compared to other body moisturizers, so I ended up calling for it to find out how it actually is. Read on!

Price :

₹795 but I got it for ₹636 😀

My Take on The Body Shop Strawberry Body Sorbet:

When I bought it, I was honestly wondering what this gel-like moisturizer could actually do. So when I tried it, I felt a cooling sensation on my skin while applying it and my room was filled with the strawberry scent! Amazing, right?! 😀 It is super light and somewhat like jelly when it comes to consistency. Fast-absorbing, rightly claimed but what after that? After an hour of applying the sorbet, I could still smell the strawberry and my hands felt soft. After 3 hours, the scent started to fade but was still there! After 4 hours, I felt the need of re-applying because my hands (as I have dry skin) started to feel rough. In short, the sorbet is great for people with normal skin. It’s not creamy, not oily and absorbs quickly. But I don’t feel the need of repurchasing this product as it did not help my skin.

I would say go for it only if you love the strawberry fragrance and don’t have dry skin problems.

Pros of The Body Shop Strawberry Body Sorbet:

• Amaazzinnggg strawberry fragrance .
• Even if the fragrance is overpowering, beauties won’t mind it because it’s still a little mild to the nose.
• Fast-absorbing and not at all creamy making it great for summers!
• Keeps hands soft!
• The smell doesn’t go even after washing hands with soap.
• A little goes a long way.
• Thanks to its quantity, it might stay for at least 3-4 months.

Cons of The Body Shop Strawberry Body Sorbet:

• Not hydrating enough for a moisturizer.
• Some beauties might not like the overpowering fragrance.
• Didn’t make much of a difference to my skin.
• Not travel-friendly thanks to its size.
• Might feel sticky to some.
• Won’t help girls with dry skin/very dry skin.
• Pretty expensive.
• Re-application is required after 5-6 hours.

Conclusion on The Body Shop Strawberry Body Sorbet:

It’s a gel-like moisturizer, something different and out of the box, which I like. But the product is nothing great. Not hydrating enough and it’s nothing like a moisturizer to be honest. The smell although is amazing! I think it would make a good product for girls with normal skin; for the summers as it is not at all creamy and absorbs into the skin quicker than ice melts in front of a heater 😛

Only if you don’t have dry skin that needs hydration and also if you want to smell yummy 😛
