I had not purchased a new shampoo in a while and noticed this new one from The Body Shop. This one is called their ‘Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo’. The concept of strawberries in hair care is new to me and it actually won my heart. Now, let’s get started with the review.

My Experience with The Body Shop Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo:

The Body Shop Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo comes in a super cute cherry red plastic bottle with a black flip cap. It is their standard packaging and I quite like it as this is a travel-friendly and leakage-proof bottle to carry. But, product identification can be a little hard if you have other products from this range for they all look alike. Otherwise, it’s a very simple and sleek packaging.

I love The Body Shop bath products because of their fragrance and this one too has the amazing fragrance of real strawberries. It smells so delicious and divine that it perks up my mood and adds freshness to my hair. The fragrance lasts pretty long in my hair and can keep odor away in summers. The shampoo itself has a clear light pink gel texture with medium consistency.

The formula spreads easily on my scalp and lathers perfectly. I require a decent amount of the shampoo for my long hair and it works so well to create a foam. It’s also easy to rinse (with two washes) and gives a completely clear finish. The texture is non-sticky, non-greasy and gives a mess-free experience. The concept of strawberries in hair care is quite new to me and it claims to make my hair glossy.

It perfectly cleanses my hair and scalp without making them dry, just like it claims. It removes excess oil and leaves my hair and scalp fresh for long. The formula easily removes dirt and impurities and is perfect for all seasons. I have naturally soft and smooth hair which became dehydrated due to some medicines. So, I was looking forward to taking good care of my hair. Gladly, my hair has come back to its lively and hydrated self ever since I have started using this shampoo.

This shampoo makes my hair soft and smooth and even keeps frizz at bay. My hair is straight but tends to become a little wavy when it is dry. But, after using this shampoo, it again looks perfectly smooth and straight. It also makes my hair tangle-free. It provides deep nourishment, which repairs the dryness and brings the healthy texture back. This shampoo actually helps recover the dull texture. It also keeps frizz away for a day but I prefer to follow up with a conditioner.

I have not noticed any extraordinary shine or gloss with this shampoo. My hair looks smoother and healthier but not as shiny as the brand claims. I have not noticed any hair fall because of this shampoo and keeps my scalp moisturised as well. The shampoo leaves my hair naturally bouncy. The volume lasts the next day as well. I like the fact that it never makes my hair limp, which is a respite for my thin hair.

Overall, it’s a nice shampoo for dull hair as it brings the soft, smooth and shiny texture back. This shampoo is also silicone-free and vegan, which is another good thing.
