My Take on The Body Shop Vanilla Brulee Shower Gel:
This is the only Vanilla product that I purchased from my TBS shopping spree. I needed something Vanilla and went for this because I already got the body polish in Frosted Cranberry 😛 Anyway, here’s how my experience was ..
As I opened the bottle, I got a lovely fragrance of vanilla. The shower gel actually smells of Caramel, Vanilla and Honey together mixed! Amazing smell but sadly, it doesn’t stay for long 🙁 The fragrance fills the room with its yumminess. It’s what I love about it. It lathers well and also rinses off well. Doesn’t leave that greasy and soapy feeling that other shower gels usually do. After use, the shower gel moisturizes the skin to an extent and makes it feel soft. It’s a pretty good buy for the quantity but doesn’t really do anything great in the long run. I would say to go for it only for the fragrance and the soft feeling on your skin. Dry-skinned beauties (like me) will need to apply a body moisturizer, nevertheless. But the shower gel will work great for girls with normal skin. To get the most of the shower gel, always use it with a loofah so a little is used and do not apply on the face 🙂
Strengths of The Body Shop Vanilla Brulee Shower Gel :
- Yummy smell of caramel, vanilla and honey altogether.
- Softens and moisturizes the skin after use.
- Quantity given is great!
- Doesn’t leave you with the greasy feeling that other shower gels mostly do.
- A little goes a long way.
- Inexpensive for the quantity given.
- Flip-top cap and the thin bottle makes it travel-friendly.
Flaws of The Body Shop Vanilla Brulee Shower Gel :
- It’s a limited edition product.
- Has a very low staying power of the fragrance.
- Expensive for its results.
- Dry-skinned beauties might still need to apply a moisturizer after bathing.
- Contains SLS.
Conclusion on The Body Shop Vanilla Brulee Shower Gel:
The shower gel smells really good & moisturizes the skin well too. The quantity is a lot because a little goes a long way which is why the price doesn’t really matter. It’s a good shower gel that treats your skin decently.
