My Experience with The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost:

This is a pending post, I bought this product around one-and-half year ago on 50% discount, otherwise I was not going to spend a huge amount on this product.  It’s packaged in a good-quality plastic bottle with a pump dispenser and is travel-friendly.  Texture-wise, it is a light gel which targets dull skin to create a radiant glow and smooth touch. I absolutely love the packaging, which is light, sanitary and simple to use. A single pump is more than enough for the entire face.  It leaves my skin looking and feeling smooth after applying the moisturizer, and doubles as a great base before applying make-up as a primer for foundation.

TBS Vitamin C Skin Boost

It is amazing, especially for mineral foundation, it is unbeatable.  It smells like orange citrus which is very energizing and okay for me, but not for sensitive noses.  As far as brightening part is concerned, I wasn’t really aware of any noticeable changes.  I noticed that after using this booster for two weeks, it sadly gave me pimples. Overall, I think this is good as a makeup base, but surely not for oily and acne-prone skin, having pimple is simply not worth it.

Vitamin C

Pros of The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost:

  • Nice pump packaging.
  • Does not impart oiliness.
  • Product comes at a great price when on sale.
  • Perfect makeup base.
  • Controls oiliness.

Cons of The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost:

  • You can’t see how much is left.
  • Over-priced primer.
  • Broke me out.
  • Not for sensitive skin.

  1. I have been using TBS Vit C range for about 3-4 months now and luckily it has suited me sooo well. there has been a remarkable improvement in my skin.
I am using the facial polish (face wash), microdermabrasion (scrub), vit c capsules, skin boost and day moisturiser.

  2. Thanks for the review, Vini! 😀 I was planning to try TBS Vitamin C range but if it causes pimples, I am going to stay away from it.
