I have a TBS face moisturizer from the Vitamin E range which has been formulated for dry to very dry skin. I have dry skin issues all year round that gets severe in winter. I am always on the lookout for high-moisture products that can help me relieve the symptoms. I discovered this cream online when I was looking for other products on the TBS website.
The Body Shop Difference: Constant exposure to arid environments, cold weather, as well as dry, low-humidity air blasting from heaters or air conditioners, are common culprits of dry skin. The Vitamin E Intense Moisturizer contains an innovative wheat-derived ingredient with naturally occurring carbohydrates that are very similar to those found in the skin. This protective layer stays on the skin’s surface, acting like a water magnet to help maintain moisture levels, leaving skin feeling soft, supple and well-protected. What a relief for dry skin!
How it Works:
Vitamin E and wheat germ oil help moisturize and condition skin while protecting against environmental aggressors and premature aging.
Community Trade organic olive oil, Community Trade shea butter, jojoba and grapeseed oils condition and moisturize skin.
A special wheat-derived ingredient provides a protective layer on the surface of the skin to help lock in moisture. The cruelty-free skincare Vitamin E line contains one of the richest sources of natural vitamin E, wheat germ oil, which helps protect against premature aging.

My Experience with The Body Shop Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream:
This is a very heavy duty moisturizer as it’s designed for very dry skin; I am sure a lot of oily skinned ladies might not be able to use it. Perhaps it would be a boon for dry skinned ones like me. I saw this moisturizer a long time back and got it, I have finished two tubs but somehow I forgot to review this assuming that it might have been already reviewed. 😀 I searched for the review but it wasn’t there.
This moisturizer comes from the TBS bestselling range of Vitamin E and all of the products in this range are great for most skin types. The moisturizer is not available in stores where I stay so I ordered a lot of these products as my skin has been behaving weird for some time as this was the only thing working for me. The cream is thick and buttery despite that it applies smoothly as well as gets absorbed well into the skin.
There faint floral smell is very refreshing. The cream has a light pink tint to it and can be used a s a good night cream. I have been having peeling face skin for some days and this had helped me control that. This is my regular moisturizer now and I love it. I apply it before applying my makeup as well because it gives a dewy and flawless look.
Pros of The Body Shop Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream:
• Extremely hydrating
• Fresh smell
• Spreads easily
• Non-oily and non-sticky
• Cruelty free
• Lesser chemicals
