My experience with The Body Shop White Musk Libertine Body Wash:
The packaging with this is kind of a little different from their regular body washes. It has this glassy finish sturdy transparent plastic bottle with a flip top. Now the flip top looks so classy. It has this silver round around the circumference part and it is white on the flat top. I really loved it.
The consistency of the body wash is not runny at all. It is nice and good with a little gel like feeling. You know, when you squeeze out a product and it abruptly stops to pour, you get the feeling of gel.It smells so good. It smells really sweet, musky and soft. It feels refreshing and clean at the same time. The best part about it is, the smell lingers on for a pretty long time after you have used this product. I would say approximately a couple of hours and I guess that’s pretty much decent for a body wash.
I need only one sqeezysqeeze on my loofah and I can work it up for my whole body. I find that the foam this creates is really silky. It feels super luxurious and it smells so soothing and at the same time refreshing in the shower. It cleans your body well and leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished. Your skin indeed feels hydrated and doesn’t look like in a dire need of a moisturizer. In summers specially, if you use this, I don’t really think you need to layer on a regular moisturizer.
This product contains honey and glycerin. I guess this is the reason behind the sweet smell. Both honey and glycerin have amazing advantages for the skin and work as a natural humectant to retain moisture in the skin. This also has castor oil in it which is known for relieving rough areas and dry patches on your body. So basically this baby is jam packed with good natural conditioning agents and works really well. I think I would find myself repurchasing this when I finish my current bottle.
