So a big hug to each and every team member of IMBB and all the new and old girlies who are a part of this exciting journey on IMBB. 🙂
Beginning with the product review, I am here to share with you all, my experience of the recently launched products from The Body Shop i.e. Wild Argan Oil Rough Scrub.
The scrub comes in a typical Body Shop tub packing. The cap of the tub has the brand name and pictorial representation of the argan nut with oil oozing out from the same. The product inside it is somewhat gel type with of medium consistency. The shade of the product can be seen as a mixture of orange to brown colour.

My Experience with The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Rough Scrub:
Exfoliation is very necessary for skin. We do it regularly for our face, then why not the same for rest of our body?
To begin with, the moment you unscrew the cap of the tub, you can easily sniff a very pleasant fragrance. I am pretty sure many of you would simply love it. It can be described as a very warm, light and a wintery smell which cannot be ignored at all. The second noticeable thing is the fine brown granules incorporated in the orange-brown gel. The granules are not doubt very fine, but the work they perform is excellent. Read on to know more.
As per the instructions, I applied the scrub on the damp skin and started to rub it in circular motions. The granules can be felt on the skin. As per the name, the scrub is actually rough. Do not even dare to try it on the skin of your face. After rubbing it for a while, I stopped the procedure because I could not take the roughness any more and also I was afraid if I would abrade my skin. I know this is funny, but the scrub was really rough for the first time. To my surprise, nothing of what I had imagined happened.
Instead what I could see was a beautiful white, radiant and glowing skin. I compared my hand with the other one and I could actually visualize the difference with my naked eyes. Apart from this, the skin became smoother and softer, as per the claims. The fragrance it imparted to my skin lingered on for a while, which I was trying to sniff time and again.
Also I could feel that there was no dryness on my skin. My favourite method of checking the dryness of the skin is my personal scratch test. Fortunately, after the wash I could not create a single streak of dryness on the skin with my nails. This proves that the argan oil did its job of moisturisation.
Pros of The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Rough Scrub:
- Great exfoliator.
- Works exactly as per its claims.
- Imparts an amazing fragrance which definitely cannot be ignored.
- Turns the skin soft and radiant.
- Quantity is enough to work for 2-3 months, if used in the right way.
- Apt for winters to remove the dormant dry dead skin and improve the circulation of the same.
Cons of The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Rough Scrub:
- The scrub granules are a bit rough and might hurt when used for the first time.
- Tub packing might not be appealing to many people.
- A bit costly (but no complaints – TBS products are always on a higher end).
Would I Repurchase The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Rough Scrub?
Yes, why not. Who doesn’t want a beautiful white glowing skin? 🙂
Rating: 4.5/5. (0.5 deducted for the roughness of the granule particles).
