The Cure Beauty And Wellness Lounge

The Cure Beauty And Wellness Lounge

Hello Ladies,
Remember I went missing for two days last week? Basically I had a lot of relaxation and pampering sessions during those two days, I and my Mum both had a great time, shopping, relaxing, eating out, trying out new things and we also spent a whole day getting ourselves pampered and relaxed at The Cure Beauty And Wellness Lounge.

Before I even get started with all we got done at the spa, let me just give you a briefing about The Cure Beauty And Wellness Lounge.

The Cure Beauty And Wellness Lounge – My Experience

What is The Cure?
The Cure is a beauty and wellness lounge offering an excellent range of glamorous treatments, complemented by the highest quality products selected from across the globe. Opened in 2003, The Cure provides clients with a warm and friendly haven from the stresses of daily life.

There are lots of spas and beauty salons in Dubai. What distinguishes you from your competition?
The Cure differentiates itself by offering quality in every aspect of our business. From the staff we employ, to our customer service, through to the products and technologies we use. We offer five star spa services for much less than five star prices, and we deliver a warm, friendly and gracious experience to all who pass through our doors.

Where is The Cure located and what are the opening hours?
The Cure is situated in Dubai Media City, on the ground floor of Building 10 (BBC World building). It is open Saturday to Thursday between 9am-8pm and Fridays 10am-7pm.

Who is behind The Cure?
The Cure is owned by Nadia Ivanova Briggs. Nadia has a passion for health, beauty and wellbeing, and in addition to being the driving force behind The Cure, she regularly acts as consultant for a number of other beauty and health sector clients and is actively involved with a number of charities.

Tell us what we can expect when we visit The Cure?
The Cure offers clients 3-4 beautifully decorated treatment rooms, a waxing room, spray tan room, nail tech room and a warm, stylish and comfortable communal nail lounge area. We do away with the coldness and formality of many salons in this part of the world and instead we invite you into a comfortable warm atmosphere.

When you arrive at The Cure, you’ll be received with a hot scented towel, relaxed into a state of bliss through a complimentary back massage with your manicure and pedicure and refreshed with a complimentary selection of teas, juices or water, including our signature water with lemon and mint. With 9 out of 10 customers at The Cure being referrals or repeat clients, means we must be doing something right in the experience we create.

The Cure Beauty And Wellness Lounge – My Experience

Is The Cure only open to women?
Yes, The Cure is a ladies only beauty spa.

What treatments and services does The Cure Offer?
The Cure offers an extensive treatment list including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing and a range of slimming and specialist therapies. We regularly introduce new treatments and technologies to The Cure.

What are some of your more popular services?
Emirates Woman Magazine called us “best all-rounder” for beauty treatments. Our clients enjoy being able to get their nails, facials and less glamorous hair removal procedures done under one calming roof. Manicures and pedicures remain our most popular treatment, but our facials are increasingly in demand. This is especially so as more and more clients see dramatic improvements in their skin as a result of well-trained staff and high quality, penetrating products.

Is it true that you give clients free back massages?
Yes, every time you book yourself in for a manicure or pedicure, we will offer you a blissful, stress-relieving back massage completely free of charge. This isn’t a limited-period offer, but a permanent treat we offer our clients, distinguishing us as a spa with finesse and flare for details.

What products do The Cure Stock?
Our treatments incorporate the best in quality products sourced and selected from across the globe, including Nimue, Dermalogica, OPI, Essie, Gelish, Nail Tek, Shellac, Thalgo, ATP Seriums and Pilgram.

We heard The Cure often organises events. Can you tell us more about these?
In 2004 we launched our “Tea at The Cure” workshops, where we invite clients to spend the afternoon with us, enjoy lovely refreshments, meet likeminded individuals and listen to experts from the world of beauty, health and fitness. Our past workshops have included, ‘Manifesting Fabulous Relationships’ with Anne Jirschitska, ‘Face Mapping and Skin analysis’ with Victoria Dallimore , “Beauty From Within” with Stepanie Niazi, Rawan Albina of Leap Life Coaching, psychologist Theresa Sequeira and many more.

There are a series of post coming up for each everything we got done at The Cure, so hold your horses! 
