I’ve been trying to get my hands on either the Anastasia Brow Wiz or the Pomade for quite a long time, however, these aren’t easily available here and so only online shopping could come to my rescue. I found The Face Shop 03 Black Brown Design My Eyebrows on the day I did a crazy haul from The Face Shop and decided to give it a shot. Check it out.

My Experience with The Face Shop 03 Black Brown Design My Eyebrow:

The packaging reminds me of the D&G Brow Liner. It is a plastic, retractable pencil that has a spoolie brush on one side and the product stick on the other. Black Brown would suit most of us who have dark brown to black eyebrows. The name is quite interesting, however, the answer to “Why is there a moustache on the pencil?” is still a mystery. 😀

The product is firm, not too soft which makes sure that a lot of product doesn’t get deposited even if one may have a heavy hand. When used, the color does not come out as too intense at once, but the color is definitely buildable as per one’s desire.

It gives a soft appearance to the brows, very similar to the results you get with a brow powder. The angled tip makes it easy to fill in the brows. The spoolie brush isn’t too harsh, which is wonderful.

The product didn’t budge or smudge at all while I had it on. The hair on my brows didn’t cling onto the product. It lasted for pretty much the entire time, until I had to take it off, which was around after 8 hours.

However, it isn’t waterproof, which may be an advantage for some, depending up on personal preference. I don’t like waterproof products, especially for the eye area, so that is a win for me. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with this and it has definitely become a part of my everyday makeup routine.
