Being the makeup junkie that I am, I feel the constant need to try new makeup. Out of all the makeup items, I especially get drawn towards Kajal pencils. A typical Indian girl that I am proud to be! I honestly feel a girl can never have enough makeup, especially kohls. So today, I bring to you a nice eye pencil by The Face Shop. I hope you enjoy the review.

My Experience with The Face Shop BL01 Aqua Prism Gelset Smudge Proof Colour Pencil:

Packaging: The Face Shop eye pencil comes in a nice and sleek packaging which has a color-coded band at the end of the pencil. It also has a smudger at the other end of the pencil protected by a tiny cap. It does not come enclosed in a cardboard box or anything, but is sure has the protective plastic covering which I can settle for.

It’s not a twist up pencil so it has to be sharpened. Awkwardly enough, I do like eye pencils that have to be sharpened instead of twist up pencils. Sharpening kajal pencils do give me some weird satisfaction! So I basically have no complaints with the packaging. In fact, I love it.

Colour: Oohh!! Such a pretty colour! It’s a proper bright blue coloured eye pencil. I cannot express how much I love blue eye pencils. It’s my second favourite colour after black for the eyes. This shade is like a proper denim shade that will suit most eye colours and skin tones. I absolutely love it.

Pigmentation: This eye pencil delivers average pigmentation in one swipe but can also be built as per liking. I do like my kajals to be bright and pigmented, so I do have to swipe this 2-3 times for a full colour pay-off. Although it has be to swiped a couple of times, it does not tug or pull the waterline of the eyes.

Texture: The texture of this kajal is pretty soft and creamy, exactly why it glides on well on the eyelids as well as on the waterline. It is also fragrance free which means it does not irritate sensitive eyes. Yay!

Longevity: This is another great feature of this awesome baby. It lasts on the eyelids until you decide to remove it with a makeup remover. On the waterline, it lasts for a good 8 hours, provided you do not have the habit of rubbing your eyes constantly. Two thumbs up for longevity!

Quality: The overall quality of this kajal is super amazing! It’s creamy, pigmented, amazingly long lasting, has a smudger and works as a multi use kajal.
