I went a bit crazy at The Face Shop store and they had such variety of products that it was nearly impossible to resist. I picked up as much possible and happily enjoying most of them. Only 1 or 2 products have turned out to be dud which is slightly disappointing but the number of hits are way more than misses. I liked the charcoal skincare idea and this claimed to remove makeup as well; so it came home with me. Read on to know how it fared for my skin.

My Experience with The Face Shop Charcoal Cleansing Foam:

The flip top tube is user friendly and comes in handy in-shower. Details about the product is mentioned on the body of the cleansing foam. It is not very travel friendly but since the packaging is sturdy enough to be carried along in travel skincare kit.

The cleanser is milky black in color with sparse black granules. On massaging it creates thick foam on damp face and the granules melt on the skin. It feels smooth and cushiony which is very relaxing. On washing off the skin feels squeaky clean and refreshed.

The bonus that comes with this is makeup removing ability. So on days when I feel lazy to use an oil based makeup remover separately, I go for this one step cleansing process. It removes toughest waterproof makeup and hence I am extremely happy with this particular product. I would recommend this to all skin types as it neither dries out nor moisturizes the face. Overall it is a great product to carry along as it not only cleanses the face of dirt and grime, it removes makeup very well.
