My Experience with The Face Shop Chia Seed Moisture Recharge Serum:

The packaging of The Face Shop is always on point. This serum comes in a nice, light green paper box with product details. The actual product comes in a semi-transparent good quality fiber bottle. Initially, I thought it’s a glass bottle but it’s actually a nice strong fiber bottle with a pump dispenser. It also has a small clear cap. I like this lightweight bottle as it is easy to carry around. The cap is a little loose, otherwise this is a good bottle.

I have oily-sensitive skin, so I prefer to use lightweight products. I am currently using argan oil as my nighttime serum cum oil and picked this one up for daytime. The winter is also around and it makes my cheeks dry, so this hydrating serum seemed quite apt to me.

This serum has a medium thick gel-like consistency. It feels watery on the skin and glides well once I start blending it. This is a super lightweight serum and it gets absorbed within a few seconds. It leaves a non-oily, non-greasy finish on the skin. I just need two drops of this serum for my entire face. It is comfortable and soothes the skin too.

Since it has a water-like light texture, it blends smoothly and easily on the skin, giving it a clear glow. I just love the formula of this one! It has a fresh mild scent, which does not bother me. Now, let’s focus on its hydrating claim. Yes, it provides a good amount of hydration to the skin, just like it claims. It keeps my skin perfectly hydrated, soft and smooth without making it oily. My skin feel well-moisturised but not heavy at all, thanks to this serum.

It provides a beautiful, healthy and plump look to my face. It makes my skin feel silky soft too. I feel this serum is perfect for all skin types – it neither makes my skin oily nor dry. It works deeply and restores the moisture in the skin. It also provides relief from dry and rough texture of the skin. It also keeps my skin shine-free for long which is amazing. I love using this serum under my makeup as well.

Thanks to this serum, my skin is getting better with each passing day. It is becoming smoother, softer and healthier. I can already see changes as my skin looks super healthy with no dry patches. It suits my sensitive skin well and has never broken me out. My skin stays hydrated throughout the day and you’ll wake up with fresh, healthy skin if you use it at night.

I personally prefer to use it as my day time serum and it works perfectly for me. I just love the plump, glowy effect it gives to my skin. It might be an expensive products but is totally worth a buy. It does everything it claims so well.

Overall, it is a good hydrating serum which suits all skin types. It’s not very effective on other skin issues, though. So, if you’re looking for a serum that addresses more issues than just dryness, this one isn’t for you.
