Today, I am reviewing The Face Shop Softening Foaming Cleanser. Keep reading to know how this product fared for me.

Product Description:
The fine and thick outer moisture layer foam provides gentle moist cleansing, preventing moisture loss for maintaining soft skin.
My Experience with The Face Shop Clarifying Foaming Cleanser:
Beginning with the packaging of the product. The face wash comes in a white coloured squeeze tube with the kakao friends character “Tube” printed on it along with the product name. The cartoon character printed on the tube looks super cute. The entire product related information is printed at the back of the tube in both Korean and English.
The tube closes with a regular white coloured flip cap, which shuts tightly making a click sound making the tube leak-proof and fit for travel purposes. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel-friendly. The foaming cleanser has a mild floral fragrance. It smells mild and non-bothering. The smell does not linger for long and fades away gradually.
The foaming cleanser is pearly white in colour. The consistency of the cleansing foam is quite thick and creamy. It lathers well and a pea-sized amount is good enough to create a rich lather. It has regular cleansing properties but I am not much impressed with the quality of the product. Though it suits my sensitive skin and does not break me out, I did not get that squeaky clean feel. It does not brighten up my face.
My face looked dull and lifeless even after washing it off with this cleanser. Also, the cleanser actually made my skin tone slightly darker and patchy. It feels like it does not cleanse my skin well and leaves all impurities behind. It snatched the skin moisture and made my skin dull and dry. I had never expected a facial cleanser from a reputed Korean brand to react so badly on the skin. Overall, this product has highly disappointed me.

• Thick and creamy consistency
• Lathers well
• Does not break me out
Cons of The Face Shop Clarifying Foaming Cleanser:
• Does not cleanse the skin nicely
• Not capable of removing dirt and impurities perfectly
• Dries out the skin
• Makes my skin darker than usual
• Does not give that squeaky clean feeling
