I am not much involved in eyebrow grooming. Therefore, these eyebrow pencils and eyebrow gels are quite new to me. I had recently added a few eyebrow-grooming products to my vanity. Toady’s review is all about an eyebrow pencil from the brand “The Face Shop”. Keep reading to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with The Face Shop Designing Eyebrow Pencil- 03 Brown:

I really like the packaging of the product, as it is very easy to use. The retractable pencil is very easy to use. The pencil is dual ended. It has the eyebrow pencil at its one end and a spooley-brush on the other end. The body of the pencil is gray, while the cap of the pencil is color-coded, while the cap on the side of the spooley brush is simple gray in color like the body. The twist up mechanism of the retractable pencil works pretty fine. The pencil tip is slightly slanted, that ensures précised application. These cap fits tightly and never come off while carrying around. The spooley brush works pretty fine and it is of good quality. Overall, I could not find any flaws in the packaging of the product.

The shade I had bought is Brown. Though, I wanted to buy the shade “Black Brown” but that was unavailable and this one was the darkest of the shades, which were available. I have dark black eyebrows.

So, I was supposed to get an eyebrow pencil, that is two shades lighter than my natural hair color to ensure those natural looking brows. So, ideally the shade “Dark Brown” or “Black Brown” was apt for me. But, due to their unavailability, I had to pick this product. Though, this shade is way too light for me but still I love this one, as it looks pretty natural. The color mixes into my hair nicely, giving them a very natural looking appearance.

In terms of texture, the eyebrow pencil is not very creamy and it does require a little effort while drawing a line or applying it on the brows.

The color is nice and easily blendable. You will get full control over this eyebrow pencil and you will never over do the brows. The pigmentation of the eyebrow pencil is good. But, still I need some 2-3 swipes to build up the color nicely. The color does not smudge and lasts pretty long. It is also waterproof variant. It does not budge at all and stays at place all the time. The face shop designing eyebrow pencil keeps my eyebrows groomed for 8-9 hours easily.

Overall, I really love this amazing eyebrow pencil. This is such a great product.
