I am a makeup fan, and especially I love eye makeup. I own like hundreds of eye makeup products and there are still few in my bucket list to try. I came to know about the The Face Shop brand during my trip to Australia. So, today I am going to review The Face Shop waterproof Autoliner in Black 01.

It’s a super-strong waterproof eyeliner that does not smudge even perspiration, water, sebum or hot steam.

Quantity:
0.3g / 0.01 oz.

Directions:
Twist up the Autoliner to show 2 mm of actual liner. Then, draw along the eyeline from inner edge to outer edge of the eyes. Use a sharpener to draw clearly defined eyelines. Use after separating after the sharpener by twisting it off from the end of pencil. (Place the pencil into the sharpener and twist gently for sharpening)

My Experience with The Face Shop Face It Waterproof Autoliner – Black 01:

I have been using The Face Shop autoliner for over a year. This my daily use favourite as its long lasting and smudge proof. This one is perfect for upper lash line, lower lash line as well as on waterline. Autoliner is talc-free and paraben-free, so doesn’t cause any harm to sensitive eye area. I have used it all day long, after 6-7 hours in sun and in the water it stays perfect. They don’t promise about 12 hour staying power but it stayed perfect for 6-7 hours and later it needs a bit of touch up. It is a very strong and powerful eyeliner, and actually works against water, oil and heat.

This autoliner is suitable for all skin types, but recommended for normal skin type. It is very easy to use because of its twist up function, no muss no fuss. Yet we can sharpen it for an edgier look.

Packaging: Its packaging is pretty cute. Navy and black colour pencil with turquoise coloured text on it. The autoliner is sleek and it is a twist up pencil, with a fitted cap. On the other end it has cute little sharpener for drawing thin lines. It’s cute and tiny pencil, fits in any makeup bag even in a wallet. Overall, it is a travel friendly product.

Colour: It is a perfect and beautiful dark black colour. Great option for someone like me who love dark black eyeliner. One swipe makes shows up a little light, but with one more swipe it gives you amazing edgy look. It works for almost all skin tones. It does not have any shimmer or no shiny particles, And gives you a full matte effect.

Texture: The liner has a very creamy texture and it is super pigmented. It helps create many looks. It never clumps on the lashes even after 2-3 swatches. You don’t need to drag roughly to draw on lids, it easily and evenly distributes pigment on eyelids even on waterline.

Yes, I will recommend it. Very similar to Lakme Iconic in Black. If you love Lakme Iconic you are going to love this one too.
