The Face Shop Green Tea Cleansing Foam Review

Skin Type- Combination to Oily; Sensitive Skin – No
My love for The Face Shop continues as I am reviewing the Green Tea Cleansing Foam today. I got some fabulous deals in the shop and it was impossible to stop me really. I got overboard with skin care stuff as that is their area of excellence and honestly I am very much enjoying trying out new and unique products. Enough of the blabber, let’s move on with the review.

My Experience with The Face Shop Green Tea Cleansing Foam:

The flip top tube is simple and user-friendly at the same time. Details about the product is mentioned on the body of the cleansing foam. It is not very travel friendly but the packaging is sturdy enough to be carried along in travel skincare kit.
ingredients

The cleanser is very pale green in color keeping up with the theme of green tea. Only a little product is required each time to lather up on the face. It feels smooth and cushiony on the face which is really comfortable to massage on.

The sad part is it does not remove residual makeup which I was expecting it to do as it claimed so. Nevertheless it cleanses the skin really well and leaves skin feeling fresh and bright. After patting dry the skin did not feel super stretchy but after a while it starts feeling a bit dry. Not that you have to run for the moisturizer but you cannot ignore applying it either. It has a typical herbal fragrance to it which is not really bothersome and it vanishes when the foam is washed off.
opening

Given a choice I would pick the charcoal variant over this as that has the makeup removing properties and I like my face to be squeaky clean yet not dried out after washing the face. This is not a bad product by any means but when you compare, this scores less than the other.

Pros of The Face Shop Green Tea Cleansing Foam:

• Convenient tube packaging.
• Little goes a long way.
• Foams up well.
• Gentle on skin.
• Did not break me out.
