One of the few products I had in mind before stepping in The Face Shop store was this Jeju Aloe gel as it is one the best sellers from the brand. Aloe is good for all skin types and the price tag was justified, so I got it along with the Bamboo gel (review coming up). Read on to know how this fared for my skin type.

My Experience with The Face Shop Jeju Aloe Fresh Soothing Gel:
The Jeju Aloe comes in a huge tub packaging with all green theme. The details about the product are mentioned at the back of the tub. The tub comes with a protective shield which controls spillage. Considering the size of the tub it is definitely not travel-friendly. You need to de-pot it in a smaller tub if you wish to travel with it.
The texture is superb, just like we expect aloe vera gel to be. It is a multi-tasking product which can be used as a moisturizer and a mask, both on face and hair. It is good for all skin types and suits sensitive skin as well. On face a little goes a long way as it spreads well on the skin.
I generally apply it as a cooling hydrating mask. A thick layer on the face gives a lovely refreshing and cooling feel. Most of it gets absorbed and the residue is washed off with cool water giving way to super smooth supple skin. I love the effect both in terms of look and feel. I really do not have the heart to spend the product on hair as a mask, because the quantity required is more when applied as mask. I have used it as serum post-shower and it gives normal sheen to the hair but as I said I will not continue to use it on my hair. It is a great mask especially in the scorching heat and I will use it as a miser for the whole summer.
