My Experience with The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Aloe Nose Strips:
I have combination skin and my major concern is clogged pores. Therefore, I prefer using nose pore strips to keep my skin pores on my nose clean and unclogged. There are small blackheads on my nose and the nose pore strips help me a lot to get smooth skin. I am quite liking The Face Shop products, so when I spotted these nose pore strips online, I got super excited to try them out.
Let’s begin with the review of the product with its packaging. The nose pore strips come in individual packets, each packet containing one nose pore strip. These small packets come housed in an off-white and beige colored strong cardboard box. The ingredients list, product details, how to use, etc are printed at the back of the packet in both Korean and English language. I am happy that each strip comes in separate packet, which makes it travel friendly. The strip comes pasted on a shiny transparent sheet. Overall, the packaging of the product has no flaws. It is absolutely hygienic and travel friendly. Usage instructions are clearly printed at the back of both the outer box and the pouch as well. Also, the nose pore strip is absolutely fragrance free, so great for people who do not like fragrance in their products.
To apply nose pore strips, first wet your nose properly and then apply the strip from the shiny side on your nose. The shiny side is supposed to have some gluey thing that helps this strip to adhere on to the skin perfectly. The strip sticks nicely and never slips off. The size of the strip is quite big and it perfectly covers the entire nose area, but it doesn’t cover the tip of the nose nicely. And, it is my major concern as most of the blackheads are at the tip of my nose. So, it gets difficult for me to get rid of the blackheads on nose tip.
I keep the strip on my nose for 10 minutes as it dries out pretty quickly. Then, I peel off the dried strip slowly and gently. And, I was impressed to see that this nose pore strip removed my blackheads and whiteheads really well. And it makes my nose area clean and smooth. But, it could not remove small blackheads on the nose. It does not leave any sticky residue behind. So, I simply wash off my skin with plain water. These strips do not irritate my sensitive skin. Overall, this product works very well.
