Today, the product I am going to talk about is one of the cutest things I have in my collection. It’s from The Face Shop and the makeup product is called Love Mark Tint in Shy Kiss Pink. I am a hoarder of pink lipsticks. I do not know but every time I get into a shop, I go with a mind set to try some different shades, but as soon as the SA starts swatching lipsticks on my hand, my eyes are set on the pink ones 😛 But this lipstick has a different reason on why I bought it and it’s only because of the packaging. I simply LOVED the packaging. It was love at first sight. Me and my bestie were on a shopping spree and we both got promoted at the same day, and our other best friend asked us to buy something for ourselves as a gift. So, we both headed to Sephora and checked out some cosmetics. Then, I noticed this cute thing and immediately fell in love with it.
These love mark tints come with a lip-shaped sponge. So, you have a choice to apply it either with the help of this sponge like you are stamping it on your lips or the traditional way using fingers or lip brush. Personally, I am not a lip brush person or you can say I really don’t know how to use a lip brush 🙂 I prefer applying lip pot products with the help of my fingers.
My Experience with The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Love Mark Tint in Shy Kiss Pink:
I simply adore this product for its colour and of course the packaging. This lip colour comes in a pot which has two sections. Top section has actually the lip-shaped stamp and the bottom section contains the lip colour. The bottom part is transparent and hence it’s easy to look at the colour it contains.
The product is non-drying but some people might find it drying when they use it with the sponge. The color is a beautiful hot pink which can be applied as natural with the sponge or can be made hot and s*xy if applied using a brush. So, overall, it’s easily buildable as per your choice.
I like to wear it as a simple natural lip tint hence I sometimes use it with the help of sponge or with fingers. It has a creamy texture and does not feel sticky. Once it sets, it stays on my lips for 5-6 hours easily, which is very impressive. Pigmentation is also pretty good.
Pros of The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Love Mark Tint in Shy Kiss Pink:
- Utterly cute packaging and to be honest, I bought this lip product just because of its packaging.
- High pigmentation.
- Buildable intensity.
Cons of The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Love Mark Tint in Shy Kiss Pink:
- Some people may not find the sponge very useful.
- It’s a bit drying.
5/5 for packaging and 4/5 for rest of the things.
This brand is available at Sephora and it cost me about 800 INR. We do not always buy products because how amazing they are quality wise, sometimes we buy stuff because how beautiful they look and I love cute cosmetics but sadly Indian cosmetics company don’t believe in cute packaging. Even all the high-end brands definitely come with great quality, but again they have the same boring packaging. I don’t understand why these Chinese/Korean companies have this concept of making the things look beautiful and The Face Shop is also a Korean company.
So, if you are also somebody who is a sucker for cute packaging like me, then I recommend you to get this product because even the product would not disappoint you.
