The Face Shop Power Perfection BB Cream Review

I love Korean brands. I have been using quite a few Korean products/brands for years now. The reason why I love Korean products is because they target skin concern even in their makeup products plus a lot of their products suits sensitive skin. The Face Shop is one of the first Korean brands I tried and fell in love with it. Today, I am reviewing their BB cream – The Face Shop Power Perfection BB Cream.
So, let’s get started!

My Experience with The Face Shop Power Perfection BB Cream:

The packaging is pretty and attractive, It comes in a tube with a pump attached. The tube allows you to squeeze out BB cream, unlike bottles. Smart packaging!

The formulation is not super thick. It is creamy but lightweight. It blends easily into the skin. It has a very subtle refreshing fragrance which fades off eventually.

It gives a velvety matte finish. I use my fingers to blend the BB cream, it blends perfectly. I also tried it with the Beauty Blender and a makeup brush; blends well with both.

The coverage is medium but buildable to full. It does cover light blemishes and fades away acne redness.

This BB cream is lightweight and does not leave any white or grey cast on the skin. The staying power is  also good.

I really like this product because it is very easy to use. I would recommend all the new makeup junkies, to begin with this product. It is also perfect for women who do not like to wear heavy foundation or don’t have the time to use multiple products. It gives a pretty good coverage. It does cover light blemishes. It evens out your skin tone giving it a much natural look. However, it doesn’t make your skin radiant or bright, but makes you skin look and feel healthy.

Swatch blended:

The BB cream is very moisturising in itself (I did not use a moisturiser), so women with dry skin can also skip the moisturiser. Unless you have extremely dry skin, I would recommend you to use a lightweight moisturiser. Also, for best results I suggest use a primer before you apply the BB cream. Plus, you can carry it along for any touch-ups, which honestly you won’t need! It is also infused with SPF37/PA++ so you can actually omit your sunscreen. I have been using this BB cream for a while now without a sunscreen and I haven’t seen any tan on my face. This is definitely my favourite BB cream.
