Today, I am going to share my view on The Face Shop Real Nature Peony Face mask. Peony is a beautiful flower but, I have never tried any skincare product containing this flower as an ingredient. I was really excited to try this and I am very happy with it. Read on to know more.

My Experience with The Face Shop Real Nature Peony Face Mask:

The Face mask comes in a nice black coloured plastic pouch that has a wooden finish. It also has some floral print on it. The packaging is hygienic and all the details are printed on the packaging but, most of them are in the Korean language so, I was not able to read them all. It has only one sheet mask that is nicely folded inside the packaging. I have never smelled Peony. It has a very sweet floral scent that is very pleasant and calming. This sheet mask was fully dipped in a plain white moisturising slippery gel that glided smoothly and felt very light on the skin. I really like this black pouch range that has all lightweight masks and the entire range has some interesting ingredients. The quantity was good enough to cover up my whole face and still, there was some extra gel in the pouch. I used this extra gel as a massage gel and it blends smoothly on the skin.

The consistency of the gel is super smooth and silky. It was a normal plain white mask that didn’t leave any stain on my face. The size of the sheet was good but, it was a little big for me and was quite difficult to fit it over my face. I wish they come with a nice shape. I kept the mask on for around 20-25 minutes and then massaged the gel for around 5 minutes. After that, I rinsed it off. The sheet was full of moisturiser that started to penetrate into my skin within minutes. I didn’t feel any dryness on the skin and it was easy to peel off. My skin felt soft and moisturised after removing the mask from my face.

I have an oily skin but, this mask felt so light and gentle on skin and it never made my skin greasy. The formula is great for oily skin and it also provided a decent amount of hydration to my skin. It kept my skin soft and moisturised. This mask hides all my dry patches and makes my skin super soft and smooth. It never irritated my skin either. In fact, it felt very fresh and soothing on the skin. It provided a great relief to my tired skin. This dry weather reduces the natural glow of the face but, this mask brought this glow back and made my tired skin appear healthy. It is specially designed for providing a radiant skin and like its claim, it helps to add a nice, healthy, illuminating glow to the skin. It gives the skin a plump appearance and makes it naturally shiny too.

My skin felt baby soft and glowy after using this mask. This natural shine or illuminating glow looks so beautiful and fresh on the skin. This mask is good for all skin types and for all seasons. But, this glowing effect doesn’t last long. The glow lasts for only 1 day and the overall soft, smooth effect stays hardly for 2 days. After this time, my skin requires reapplication. Still, I am so happy with this mask only because of its glowing effect that is good to use for an instant purpose. Also, the brand claims that this mask doesn’t have any parabens but, it has alcohol, which is definitely not good for the skin, especially for sensitive skin. Yet this mask didn’t break me out. Overall, I really liked this sheet mask and adds a healthy glow to the skin.
