My Experience with The Face Shop the Solution Brightening Face Mask:
The Face Shop the solution brightening face mask comes in a fresh white color pouch, with a test tube print on the pouch. It looks nice and easy to carry. All the details are nicely printed on the packaging. Pouch contains one sheet. Sheet is nicely folded in the packaging. This mask has a very fresh smell that feels very pleasant and it never feels overpowering. I like it.
This particular mask is little different than the other sheet mask from Real Nature range. It has a silvery glossy plastic film inside the packaging. This film is same as the sheet mask. They describe the mask as an Air Sheet and yes it is a very light weight semi transparent white mask. It is also very thin, only 0.21mm and that’s why it feels super light on skin. The film helps to hold this fine mask easily without any mess. This sheet mask is fully dipped in a plain white moisturizing slippery gel that glides smooth and feels very light on skin. I think quantity is enough to cover up my whole face and still it remains in the pouch, that I can use after remove the mask as a massage gel. Size of the sheet mask is perfect for my oval face. It is not like the other mask I have. It fits nicely and gel easily sticks on my face that I can move or walk easily with it. Also, it is easy to peel off from face.
I kept this for around 20-25min on face and then I massaged the gel on face for around 5min and rinse it off. Sheet is full of moisturizer, that starts to penetrate my skin nicely after few minutes. It never feels dry on skin and never irritated my skin. It feels very soothing and smooth. After removing the mask my face looked very smooth and soft. The moisturizing gel is not too oily and never makes skin shiny. It perfectly makes skin soft and hydrated that last long. My skin stays oily free so long. But it is not best for dry skin, like the real nature’s range. It is good for normal to oily skin, that helps to maintain the perfect balance of hydration.
This mask contains pearl powder in it and Pearl is an effective skin brightening ingredient. Like its claim, it does its job perfectly to makes my dull skin bright. Here brightness doesn’t mean to fair. It actually helps to remove the dull texture on skin and makes it healthy glowing. Mask makes skin smooth and tightens up my skin, so it looks very fresh and clear. It acts as an instant skin brightening mask that looks flawless. Also, it nicely reduces baby fine lines and rejuvenates my skin. But it can’t work against dryness or patchiness. Dry skin needs an instant moisturizer after using this.
Also the effect and glow doesn’t stay long. It stays maximum 2days and the brightness starts to decrease after 1 day. So, it needs multiple uses. But it contains so many chemicals, so I prefer to use them as an instant basis. Also, it claims that, it doesn’t have any paraben but it has alcohol which is definitely not good for skin, especially for sensitive skin. Still it never broke me out.
Overall, it is a very nice mask for my oily skin that makes skin soft, smooth and bright without makes it oily.
