I have been trying a lot of face masks by The Face Shop lately. Here is the final one from my collection. Today I am going to share my view about The Face Shop The Solution Pore Care Face Mask. Since I have some large pores around my T-Zone, I was super excited to try this mask. Read on to know how it worked on my skin.

My Experience with The Face Shop The Solution Pore Care Face Mask:

It comes in a white pouch with a blue test tube printed over it. The pouch is hygienic and easy to carry around. All the details are nicely printed on the packaging but most of them are in Korean language, so I can’t read them all. This sheet mask can be used just one time. The mask was nicely folded inside the packaging. This ‘The Solution’ range has a similar scent; this one smells quite fresh and pleasant.

The Solution range is a little different from the other sheet mask ranges by The Face Shop. This range has a silvery glossy plastic film inside the packaging. This film is of the same size as the sheet mask. It has been described as ‘Air Sheet’ by the brand and yes it is a very lightweight and semi-transparent white mask. It is also very thin – only 0.21 mm – and that’s why it feels super light on the skin. This mask was good enough for my oily skin as it felt quite comfortable.

This sheet mask was fully dipped in a plain white moisturizing slippery gel that glided smoothly and felt very light on the skin. I think the quantity was enough to cover up my whole face and still the gel was left inside the pouch. The size of the sheet mask was perfect for my oval face. It fit my face nicely and the gel easily got stuck to my face. The mask was even easy to remove. The overall application process was quite smooth and easy, hence these masks can be used anywhere.

I kept this mask for around 20-25 minutes on the face. Then, I massaged the gel on the face for around 5 minutes and rinsed it off. The sheet felt very soothing on the skin and it provided a nice relief to my tired skin. My skin felt so much fresher because of this mask. The sheet was so full of moisturizer that it started to penetrate into my skin nicely after a few minutes. My face looked very smooth and soft after I removed the mask.

This particular variant is especially meant for oily skin. It felt quite lightweight and non-oily on my skin. I have very oily skin with large pores around my T-zone. It provided a good amount of hydration to my oily skin without making it oily. It never felt greasy. I always love such face masks! But it was not a totally shine-free mask. There was some shine on my face. Yet, I would say, my face didn’t look too oily, shiny or greasy. This mask provided a nice, healthy glow to my face. It made my dull, oily skin look healthy and fresh.

This mask made my skin appear smooth and pores were less visible, but I could not see any major changes in my pores. The effect of all these masks is quite similar. I did not really see any huge difference after using this mask. I do not think this mask can provide intense hydration to dry skin, though. Also, the effects do not last very long and vanish after a day or two. It does not contain parabens but it does have alcohol in it which is not really great for sensitive skin.

Overall, this is a good mask for oily skin as it provides a decent amount of hydration. But I would prefer it for instant results only, and would not expect long-lasting or excellent results.
