My Experience with The House of Oud Blessing Silence Eau de Parfum:
The packaging was the first thing that attracted me and I wanted to buy this fragrance. The egg-shaped glass bottle is hand-painted and everyone will have a unique bottle. The cap – on which the bottle rests – is metallic; it is heavy and has the brand name on it. The name of the fragrance is printed on the bottom of the cap. The bottle contains 75 ml of fluid.
‘Blessing Silence’ is an oriental floral fragrance. I generally don’t go for a floral fragrance and that was one reason I didn’t love it when I first sprayed it on. When you spray it on Blessing Silence will give you a very floral in-your-face scent. The scent is really strong but smells really good once it dries down.
It smells deep, warm, dark and sensual. It’s a very unique, intense fragrance, which is not for everyone. People who love the oud and rose combo would absolutely love this perfume. Once Blessing Silence dries down you can smell patchouli, sandalwood, oud, and rose.
I get so many compliments when I wear this perfume. There are several oud and rose combos in the market but there is something special about this perfume. If you don’t like oud then you shouldn’t go for this since this is quite a strong fragrance. Since I admire oud-based fragrances I love this perfume.
It’s more of a winter, night time scent. This is marketed as a unisex fragrance and I totally agree to that. It’s quite strong, which will make it work for men also. When it comes to longevity this perfume lasts just 6 to 7 hours on me and that is the only thing I can complain about.
