Hello lovely ladies!!
Today, I am going to introduce you all to an amazing beauty secret. It’s been a total crazy rage in the beauty world. There are people who swear by it and many, including me, have traded their Clarisonic for this product!! True Story: D
The product is the famous The Konjac Sponge Co French Pink Clay Facial Sponge Puff. Read on for details.
Price: INR 825
The Konjac potato is a perennial plant, native to Asia and known as Konnyaku in Japan. For over a century, the Japanese have been using the Konjac vegetable as a beauty treatment for their delicate skin. Suitable for even the most sensitive skin. Leaves skin extremely clean and refreshed 100% naturally! No need for additional cleansers or soaps. Sponges are 100% natural, color and additive free, biodegradable and environmentally safe.
This sponge is perfect for tired, sensitive and dehydrated skin. Pink clay is a mix of red and white clay and helps to turn rough and hardened skin into soft and radiant skin. It works to rejuvenate and return the skins natural elasticity and is particularly excellent for skin that has had lots of sun exposure (hello beach babes)!
How to Use:
My Experience with The Konjac Sponge Co French Pink Clay Facial Sponge Puff:
I am a firm believer in regular and gentle skin exfoliation. That is why, I invested in the Clarisonic Mia. It is widely believed, and truly so, that the dead skin cells must be removed from the skin daily. Only then do our expensive serums, moisturizers and skin treatments get effectively absorbed in our skin. Now, the Clarisonic is a wide rage. People swear by it literally. I do feel, it’s a great product, but not a miracle worker. On top of it, it is so expensive!! I think I bought mine for some Rs 6000 (plus customs) in 2011!! It just did not impress me enough.
So, when I came across this rage product, which was actually, for a fraction of the price, I simply had to get it! And, I do not regret my decision one bit.
This pink sponge is especially suited for skin exposed to sun. Heloo!! Indian skin is ALWAYS exposed to sun. Hence, I had to choose it. The sponge looks really shrivelled and hard when it’s dry. But, once it is allowed to soak in water for 7-8 minutes, it expands to nearly twice its size and becomes incredibly soft. I usually soak mine in a cup of water just before brushing my teeth at night, and by the time I am done, the sponge is nice and softly plumped up for use.
The sponge can be used with or without face wash .I generally use it with face wash, in circular motions on the skin. It very gently buffs away dead skin and encourages blood circulation. It has turned the night time skincare ritual into an enjoyable experience for me. I actually feel that my face is thoroughly and gently cleansed upon using this.
This sponge, when used with care has a shelf life of 3-4 months. You should never wring it. Also, you must always hang it to dry, using the handy drying string attached to it. Keeping the sponge dry is the key to maintaining it and keeps it free from bacteria.
Summing up the pros and cons for you:
Pros of The Konjac Sponge Co French Pink Clay Facial Sponge Puff:
• All natural product.
• Very gentle.
• Nicely buffs away dead skin.
Cons of The Konjac Sponge Co French Pink Clay Facial Sponge Puff:
• It’s the best. No cons. 😛
100/5 I love it!
It’s hands down the best facial cleansing tool. It beats even the famed Clarisonic, as far as I am concerned. A MUST buy. I will forever continue to repurchase.
