The Nature’s Co. Chocolate Lip-Pop Review

Hi everyone!

Today’s review is on The Nature’s Co. Chocolate Lip-Pop. I’ve used the Green Apple variant earlier, and I loved it to the core. So, when I saw this beauty on sale at an online portal, I decided to buy it without thinking twice. I bought the Coconut Lip-Pop too which I will review later. Now, let us move on to the review.

My Experience with The Nature’s Co. Chocolate Lip-Pop:

Packaging: This lip balm, too, comes in a twistable tube container, like the other variants in this range. It is covered with a brown label (brown for chocolate), which contains the name of the brand, the name of the product, product description and list of ingredients etc. The cap opens and shuts without any difficulty. In fact, it has even fallen down a couple of times, but the packaging has remained intact.

The only problem is that if you twist up the tube fully, it is slightly difficult to get the lip balm back into the container. I had faced this problem while clicking pictures for the review. Eventually, I had to press the top slightly, and in the process, I ended up creating a small dent at the top of the lip balm. Otherwise, the packaging is quite sleek and sturdy.

Fragrance: The lip-pop has a lovely chocolate fragrance to it which is pleasant and not too overpowering. However, the smell does not stay for long and disappears in about half an hour or forty five minutes.

Texture, Colour and Staying Power: The lip balm or lip-pop, as it is called, is really emollient and hydrates my lips well when I apply it. The lip-pop has a slight brownish tint to it, but the tint is very slight and will not cover pigmented lips completely. As for the staying power, the lip-pop stays on my lips for about two hours, before wearing out. However, my lips continue to feel moisturized and soft for about four to five hours, before I feel the need to reapply the lip-pop.

This lip-pop will not last a heavy meal and you would feel the need to reapply it soon after lunch or any other heavy meal. However, sipping water does not make a difference and the lip-pop remains intact. The lip-pop does not feel heavy or sticky and when applied at night, it makes my lips feel soft and moisturized in the morning. The major con of this lip-pop is that it does not contain SPF and hence, it would not be a good idea to wear it outdoors, especially in the summers. But, you could top it off with a lip color containing SPF.

It acts as a good base for my matte lipsticks and ensures that my lips don’t dry out soon. I have been using this one for more than two weeks now, and I can safely say that my lips are really behaving well these days. Overall, I am really happy with this purchase. However, I’m still missing my Green Apple lip-pop.

  1. Ha, ha. Unfortunately, no Arja. If it were to taste like chocolate, it wouldn’t have stayed on my lips for that long :):):)
