The Nature’s Co. Coconut Lip-Pop Review

Hi Everyone!

Today’s review is on The Nature’s Co. Coconut Lip-Pop. I have been using this product for a long time now and this review has been pending for way too long. I am really sorry for not writing it earlier. So, without further ado, let us move on to the review.

The Nature’s Co. Coconut Lip-Pop 000

Product Description:

The Nature’s Co. Coconut Lip-Pop 2

Price:
INR 295 for 100gms. I got it for INR 206 in an online sale.

Shelf Life:
Two years.

Ingredients:
The Nature’s Co. Coconut Lip-Pop 3

My Experience with The Nature’s Co. Coconut Lip-Pop:

Packaging:
This lip balm comes in a twist-able tube container, like the other variants in this range. It is covered with an off white label (off white for coconut), which contains the name of the brand, the name of the product, the product description and the list of ingredients. The lid opens and shuts without any difficulty. In fact, it has even fallen down a couple of times, but the packaging has remained intact.

The only problem is that if you twist up the tube fully, it is slightly difficult to get the lip balm back into the container. I have faced this problem a couple of times. Eventually, I have had to press the top slightly in order to push the tube back in. In the process, the bullet has got damaged. Otherwise, the packaging is quite sleek and sturdy.

Fragrance:
The lip-pop has a lovely aroma, which reminds me of freshly roasted coconut. It is pleasant and not too overpowering. However, the smell does not stay for long and disappears in about fifteen minutes to half an hour.

Texture, Colour and Staying Power:
The lip balm or lip-pop, as it is called, is really emollient and hydrates my lips well when I apply it. In fact, it is so emollient that the outer label too has an oily stain to it. I have also tried using it on my hair to tame the fly aways, as suggested by a fellow IMBB writer. I must say that it worked wonders.

The lip-pop bullet is white in colour. Initially, I had used this lip balm when my lips were in a really bad condition and I was disappointed to see that it left a whitish stain on my lips. However, after using this lip balm continuously for more than 3 months, I can safely say that this problem has not recurred.

As for the staying power, the lip-pop stays on my lips for about one and a half to two hours, before wearing out. However, my lips continue to feel moisturized and soft for about three hours, before I feel the need to reapply the lip-pop. This lip-pop will not last a heavy meal and you would feel the need to reapply it soon after lunch or any other heavy meal. Sipping water does not make a difference and the lip-pop remains intact.

The lip-pop does not feel heavy or sticky. When applied at night, it makes my lips feel soft and moisturized in the morning. The major con of this lip-pop is that it does not contain SPF and hence, it would not be a good idea to wear it outdoors, especially in the summers. Though, you could top it off with a lippie containing SPF. It acts as a good base for my matte lipsticks and ensures that the lips do not dry out soon.

I have mixed feelings about this product. Although, I like the unique flavour of coconut, I am not too pleased with its staying power.

Would I Recommend The Nature’s Co. Coconut Lip-Pop?
I already have another one in this range and hence, would not repurchase this myself. If you are a fan of coconut lip balms, then go for this one. Otherwise, you may skip it as there are better options available in the market.
