The Nature’s Co. Mango Lip Pop Review

Hello lovelies,

I hope all of you are having a super good start to the new year! The very first thing I did at the beginning of the new year was shopping. I mean we just need a reason to go and shop or should I say we don’t even need any reason. My this year’s wish is to be able to shop each and every day.

Coming to the product, which is The Nature’s Co. Mango Lip Pop. I have already reviewed its Berry variant and now, I am here with our national fruit; the one that we crave for every summer. 🙂

My Experience with The Nature’s Co. Mango Lip Pop:

I seriously have that irresistible urge when it comes to new launches or precisely, lip balms. I always get my hands on at least a few from the range or should I confess all of them!

“Lip Pops”, isn’t that an adorable phrase? It sounds like lollipops. They have launched it in plentiful flavors, but at that point I got only 3. The packaging is simple and sweet in yellow justifying the Mango flavor. By the color of the packaging, it gets very easy to distinguish the flavors and variants.

The lip balm looks nothing special from the rest; the same plastic body which is a cylindrical stick with a twisty thing beneath. It is a handy one and the cap doesn’t fall lose any time. So, I was assured that the cap and the stick wouldn’t separate and ruin my bag. It looks like a mango toffee molded into a lip balm bullet.

The price is a bit higher as compared to our routine drug store lip balms. Our everyday lip balms would fit under INR 200, but this was 100 bucks more; but, I was cool with it, since I fell in love with the name instantly.

The consistency is smooth and buttery and glides on the lips in just one go. Once the lips are layered with the balm, it takes a minute to settle and then the application looks even. It doesn’t settle into the chapped portions at all.

The Nature's Co. Mango Lip Pop Review

The fragrance is very similar to the mango-bite toffee that we have been having since our childhood days. The fragrance lingers on for a while and then, goes away within 20 minutes. It is not over-powering, though.

The lips balm stays on my lips around two and a half hours after which re-application is needed. It doesn’t disappear by drinking water because it’s waxy, but disappears if you have a meal or a snack. It does not feel heavy on the lips at all. It makes the lips look super healthy and pink. It does not have a tint and that was a disappointment. Why no tint? But, it gave my lips a glossy look which looks great for daily wear. But, I wish it gave a nice orange-ish tint which would have looked great for daily wear.

The lips look super happy and healthy. It leaves my lips very hydrated and soft through-out the day, even if there is no lip balm on my lips. It has totally treated my chapped lips and after a few days I couldn’t see any parched portion on my lips.

So, I think as a lip balm, it does a great job. After the balm goes away, the lips are still moiturised and feel so soft like a teddy bear. I think for the season, this would make it to a great purchase. I have been using all the 3 lip pops recently and loving all of them. I keep switching to one another because using the same fragrance every day becomes very monotonous!

As of now, I have three of these cuties which would be enough for the current winter and I really can’t predict about the next winter.
