The Nature’s Co Pineapple Lip Balm Review

The Nature’s Co Pineapple Lip Balm

Hello Everyone,

How are you all doing? It’s that time of the year again, when your skin asks for special care and attention and no matter how hard you try, some cracks need to be taken care of on a daily basis. Yes you guessed it right, I am talking about lips that catch attention and do not go unnoticed in case they are dry or chapped. These days various lip care treatments are available in the market, my favorite being those from The Body Shop but today I am going to review a different variant that belongs to a natural brand i.e. The Nature’s Co. They too have various flavors in their lip care category. The one I am currently using happens to be in pineapple flavor. A part of their Starrize range.

The Nature's Co Pineapple lip balm

Price: Rs. 225 for 10 ml
Packaging/Texture:

These lip balms in a very adorable cubic packaging, almost most The Nature’s Co. products do; that distinguishes them from others especially their lid. It really looks pretty sitting on your dresser but commuting with it in your handbag on a daily basis might pose a problem unless you are a big fan of oversized bags. The balm is pale white with a slight tint of yellow in color and you get that whiff of pineapple as soon as you open the lid (the scent is similar to pineapple essence, if you love pineapple cakes you would know what I mean). The texture is thick like solidified butter without any greasiness. Yes I mean it no greasiness, not even after you have applied it.

About the product: Get soft, luscious, delicious lips with the goodness of Pineapple. It moisturizes, protects and leaves lips looking smooth and hydrated. Apply it directly to your lips as often as required. Store in a cool place.

My experience with The Nature’s Co. Pineapple Lip Balm

What attracted me to buy this balm was its shape in fragrance, I didn’t need it but having another lip balm is no harm that too when winters are approaching. I like the texture of this lip balm and the cute packaging is an added bonus. The transparent packaging allows you to see the quantity and you can also see that thought the shape is that of a cube, the lip balm actually resides within a small cylindrical shape in the centre. Scooping it out might therefore not pose a problem. As per the directions given I am supposed to use the back of my nail to scrape off a little product off the surface and then apply it (Provided when tried to test sample at the store). Just need to ensure you have clean hands and nails to be precise before application…hygiene factor you see. It is very light on the lips and get absorbed easily while forming a thin sheen for protection. This one doesn’t last for too long and if you happen to have extremely dry lips like mine (courtesy winters not always); then you will have to keep re-applying after a few hours. I don’t mind doing that at all. It smells distinctly of pineapple and the fragrance remains for a short while even after application, the best part is that is that the scent is not heady at all. When applied in a slightly thick layer and left overnight you wake up to soft supple lips in the morning.

I’ve also tried using it on extremely dry and chapped lips and this does cure them but it requires time, maybe because it has all natural ingredients. This one is a good hydrating product to be applied underneath matte lip colors. I am definitely re-purchasing this or trying out their other flavors available.

Pros of The Nature’s Co. Pineapple lip Balm

1. Different packaging
2. Lightweight non-greasy texture
3. Distinct Pineapple flavor
4. Moisturizes and hydrates lips
5. Made up of all natural ingredients

Cons of The Nature’s Co. Pineapple lip Balm
1. Non tinted lip balm: this might be a con for some but I am not too big a fan of tinted balms so this is ok for me.
2. Available only at their outlets.
3. Wish these were available in stick forms too so that I dint’ have to use my nails to scoop it out.

Overall verdict: I like the texture and feel of these lip balms by The Nature’s Co. and am definitely re-purchasing them in other flavors too. Would recommend others too who love non-tinted lip balms

IMBB rating: 4.5/5 for its lid that requires lots of space.

  1. Hi,

It’s a nice review. I am currently using Tender Care Almond Protecting Balm by Oriflame! And trust you me it is wonderful. I love products that have almond in it. I think almond works wonders for every one. It has helped me in lightening my lip colour and remove pigmentation to a great extent. You should also try it.

    Thanks!
