Hello to all at IMBB,
How are you all doing? IMBB is such a great place to be, isn’t it? I have become so habituated with IMBB that my mornings are incomplete unless I have been through the posts. A few months back, I came across this company The Nature’s Co.; thanks to IMBB, and really wanted to try out their products as they claim to be natural, but since my city does not have an outlet for the same, I couldn’t. I know I can always purchase online but somehow I prefer to know what I am purchasing rather than just jumping in, a mistake rectified from previous impulsive purchases. So, while I was in Mumbai two months back, I finally happened to indulge and picked up a few products to my liking. Okay, so now moving on to the product that I am going to review today, this is called White Pepper Cleansing Lotion and belongs to The Nature’s Co. Atmospure range.
Rs. 345 for 100 ml.
2 years, though you wouldn’t have to wait all that long to finish it up.
Packaging and Texture:
The bottle has a rectangular shape and transparent body so the contents are easily visible. The cleansing milk is slightly runny in consistency and is non-greasy with a faint whiff of white pepper. The pump dispenser avoids accidental spillage and excess flow out. There are two caps, rectangular one for the bottle and a smaller cylindrical one for the pump to prevent any sort of contamination. The packing is sturdy and available in only one size, which can easily be carried around in your bag.
Wipe it all off with the antiseptic and purifying qualities of White Pepper. It increases blood flow at the skin’s surface enabling the ingredients to penetrate immediately and clean more effectively. Massage a small amount gently onto your skin using circular movements. Then either rinse with warm water or wipe with wet cotton pad. It can also be used to remove both eye and face makeup.
White pepper extract, Coconut oil, Olive oil, Vegetable Glycerin.
My Experience with The Nature’s Co White Pepper Cleansing Lotion:
When I read white pepper on the packaging, I was a bit skeptical about making the purchase because the first thought I had was its an inflammatory spice and how can it help in cleansing, but when I tested it at the store, it didn’t sting at all, so I picked it up. Also, it stated to remove all types of makeup including eye makeup too and that was what made me give in. Now, let me tell you about my skin type so that you get a better understanding. I have normal to dry combination skin that behaves normally during summers and dry in winters. Later when I got back, I tried it at night (too impulsive, simply can’t resist a new pack at all).
At first, I applied it on my face and neck area massaging in circular motions as directed and used a cotton round to remove and almost all makeup was gone. Then, using another cotton round, I tried removing eye makeup that included gel liner, mascara and eyeshadow and all was gone with a second swipe. It is really gentle on the lids and didn’t sting a bit. Not that I would allow it to enter my eyes, but it cleaned up marvelously, much better than those bi-phased makeup removers. No oily residue left behind and also kept my skin hydrated.
I had felt a slight tingling sensation on my first use at areas around my mouth and nose that tends to get dry a lot but with second use there was no such feeling. Maybe it was my skin adjusting to white pepper, so do not worry if your skin behaves in a similar manner. I need two pumps for my face and neck and two for eyes: one for each eye and that’s it. Following up with a face wash in not absolutely necessary, but I do it by habit; the CTM routine you see. I am really loving this cleansing lotion firstly, all natural ingredients, second, it does not give that greasy oily look, and thirdly, removes all makeup including waterproof ones and final, no separate cleanser for eyes or lips required.
In the swatches below, you can see I have tried removing mascara, gel liner, waterproof kohl, and waterproof lip liner and with second swipe all traces are gone. My skin is clear. So, what else could one ask for!

- Sturdy, hygienic and spill-proof packaging.
- Pump dispenses just the amount required.
- Embedded antiseptic and purifying qualities of white pepper.
- Can be used to remove all eye and face makeup.
- Does not leave a greasy film behind.
- Hydrates and moisturizes while cleansing.

Cons of The Nature’s Co White Pepper Cleansing Lotion:
- Stings slightly on first application.
- Would not be suitable for those with sensitive skin.

I am definitely re-purchasing unless I come across something better or my skin habit changes. Would not recommend to those with sensitive skin as mentioned on the packaging too as some might be sensitive to the natural ingredients.
