theBalm Cabana Boy Blush Review
One makeup item which gets my absolute love is blush. I believe that when properly applied, it can change the way the face looks, in a good way. I love collecting and trying different kind of blushes. One such recent find is the CabanaBoy Shadow/Blush from theBalm.
Nothing is more satisfying than being indulged, and this dusty-rose blush will ensure that you have all the boys attending to you. Its subtle shimmer catches the eye while plum undertones provide a glow that is oh-so-natural whether you are pool-side, beach-side or bed-side.
My Take on theBalm Cabana Boy Blush:
theBalm blushes are quite famous among the beauty community and I wanted to try them for a long time. Once I saw them on sale on a website and I immediately ordered this and an another one. theBalm products are known for their cheeky packaging and this one is not an exception. Take a look at the picture on the packaging, and the caption inside “So many men, so little time.” 🙂
The product comes in a sturdy cardboard flip open box. The flip is magnetized, making it easy to carry without worrying about the flip opening accidentally. This has very fine shimmer to it, which you can only notice by taking a close look at it. It has very good pigmentation, just one swipe on the product with blush brush and you will get enough product for application. The fine shimmer is not detectable on application, but it gives a very pretty natural sheen on cheek.
It is such a versatile shade that I like to apply it sheer for work and build it up a little bit for special occasions. This instantly brightens the face. Also, this blush works with a wide range of lip shades. I have used it with coral , pink and neutral lip products.
Pros of theBalm Cabana Boy Blush:
- Very pretty dusty rose shade which will work for most skin tones.
- Very good pigmentation.
- Gives a beautiful sheen on cheeks.
- Has a good staying power.
- Blends very easily.
- Love the packaging.
- Yes, it doubles up as shadow as well.
Cons of theBalm Cabana Boy Blush:
- I don’t find any con with this product.
theBalm blushes are really pretty and are of high quality. This one is specially my favorite. I would recommend this to girls with any skin tone. I am sure anyone would love this.
