TheBalm Put A Lid On It Eyelid Primer Review
Hi there loves!

I had told my husband last year that I want to order some stuff off online and he said I could have it for my birthday! I was so excited! I ordered some stuff from TheBalm, Lorac, L’Oreal, Real Techniques, and ELF. These are brands I have always wanted to try. And I have to say, not even one of the products I ordered was a disappointment!

$15.82
My Experience with TheBalm Put A Lid On It Eyelid Primer:
Coming back to TheBalm, they are a high-end brand and make really high quality products. Their colour products have generally very high pigmentation (yes, definitely higher than Lorac) and last really long. Their products are not tested on animals, which is definitely a plus.
Since I have extremely oily eyelids, I wanted to try out this primer. I have to say it is definitely better than Lorac’s Behind The Scenes primer for me personally. It kept my eyeshadows on the whole day. I use the tiniest amount all over the lid, including my lashes and blend out. A) Because I don’t want it to run out of it soon, and B) that amount is usually enough. I also use it in my under-eye area to give the concealer something to hold onto (I use TheBalm Time Balm concealer). It does not irritate my eyes at all. It said on the box to wait a few minutes after applying the primer.
If the primer still leaves your eyes oily, then I would say set the primer with translucent powder (I use ELF HD setting powder). Then, go ahead and apply eyeshadows. If you want to get your hands on this, you can directly order it off their website TheBalm.com also, since they ship internationally!
Pros of TheBalm Put A Lid On It Eyelid Primer:
- Great for oily eyelids.
- Does it what it says.
- Perfect prep step for eyeshadow, liner and mascara application.
- Can be used to keep concealer in place, yay for multiple uses!
Cons of TheBalm Put A Lid On It Eyelid Primer:
- None.
