We all know that right now the makeup trend is all about highlighting, contouring and baking. Today, I am going to discuss one of the best highlighters in the market so far. theBalm Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands since I was introduced to makeup world. The company has a complete line of makeup, skin care, nails and hair care.

The palette consists of 3 highlighters in different shades – Mary-Lou Manizer, Cindy-Lou Manizer and Betty-Lou Manizer. The powders are rich, shimmery in texture, smooth and buttery texture which is too easy to blend without any worries. The quality is same as the original individual products. This palette offers almost the same quantity of product as individual highlighters and we pay only a bit more to try all three of them.
Mary-Lou Manizer – It is one of my all time favorite highlighter since years. This is a gold – champagne tone highlighter that catches everybody’s eye. It adds a beautiful, luminous sheen and glow to the face. It is shimmery but does not contain any chunks of glitter which is the best part. It is perfect for a day as well as a night look. It is perfect for all skin tones. Also, this can be used as an eye shadow, for a day look. This shadow diffuses light so skin looks younger and softer.
Cindy-Lou Manizer – This is a light peachy – pink shade highlighter which adds a subtle color and glow to the face. This has the least shimmer as compared to other two shades. The texture is less dense and u need to use it more to add a good color to your look. It is a perfect shade for those who don’t a like to add a prominent blush shade to the face. It is also good as an eye shadow, this basically adds a hint of splash of color and shimmer to lids, while illuminating our finest features.
Betty-Lou Manizer – Fake it, Don’t bake it!!! This is what company says. It adds the sun kissed and bronzed glow to the skin. It is a medium brown shade, a warm undertone, with golden sheen and shimmer added to it. It has a rich, smooth and dense texture that blends easily on the skin. It is perfect for all skin tones and works wonders on deep skin tones. This can also be used for light contouring on the face and as a perfect shade of bronze for an eye shadow.

My Experience with theBalm The Manizer Sisters Highlighter Palette:
Packaging: This comes in a slim and hard cardboard rectangular packaging consisting of all three highlighters, which is quite sturdy. The packaging looks fun and funky just like other products from theBalm Cosmetics. Packaging is travel-friendly and compact. These highlighters are housed in round pans with a wide mirror on another side of the palette.
I love the trend of highlighters; they make the skin all glowy and dewy. I love the packaging and all three highlighters and to have them in just one compact palette is just awesome!!
My favorite out of these is Mary-Lou Manizer as it offers a pearly sheen and a luminous glow. I feel it’s perfect for daytime use as well as for a party look.
All these are long-lasting and perfect for all skin types and skin tones. I feel the products are easily blendable and not much product is required. The shimmer is also perfect and the highlighters don’t have any sparkle particles. It does not emphasize pores on our skin and highlighter works wonders.
The palette lasts quite awhile. Also, the mirror makes it convenient to use it anywhere and the packaging is compact and so slim that it is easy to carry it in our handbags as well.
