I hope everyone is having a great time playing in those lovely showers and sipping up hot coffee. It is very difficult to use makeup during monsoons as you may never know when rains may pour. Talking about makeup, I got a really good product from theBalm. A primer is a one-time investment, so I thought of getting a really good one from a good brand. And, I picked up this one. Let’s see how this worked for me!
The timebalm primer with vitamins A,C and E is designed to be worn alone for visibly softer skin, or under makeup so your look stays put. It also helps even out skin tone and minimize the appearance of fine lines.
My Experience with thebalm TimeBalm Face Primer:
I desperately needed a face primer for a long time because whenever I would go out with makeup, my skin would start looking dull and lifeless after a few hours. Hence, it was a great decision to invest in one of the best primers available in the market. Time Balm comes in a coral peach rectangle box with the tube inside it. The box has all the instruction and ingredients written down pretty well. The tube is a slim and a sleek one. I love how cute the tube looks! It is a little bigger than the palm size hence very travel friendly and easy to keep it on the shelf too.
The primer is pretty much sheer with a little peachy tint which is not at all noticeable on the face. The consistency is a little thick like Vaseline when you initially squeeze it out of the tube, but the moment I apply it, the texture totally gets changed. And, when the very first time I used this I was left surprised by the fact that even a little amount does a brilliant job. Surprised because when I applied it, it felt velvety smooth against my skin and was so easy to spread too. It gets absorbed into the skin within seconds and does not feel heavy at all.
It also did not leave any greasy film behind like some of the primers do. The moment I was done with the application, my skin instantly turned matte. It is like a miracle and God’s gift for oily skin. All the excess oil and shine gets vanished with it, and not just for short but for a long period of time. The primer has hydrating properties too, as I had ugly dry patches on the area above my lips and it instantly turned out smooth and soft. I like it because now before makeup I don’t have to use a separate moisturiser. Yes, it does everything it mentions. It has reduced the appearance of lines on the face, made my skin look really healthy and even toned, and it works great for pores too.
My pores are big and they seemed pretty blurred after I use this. This is like those beautifying apps which we use to edit pictures! 😀 It gives a perfect face ready for makeup. The makeup application on it becomes really easy and smooth. Makeup lasts much more than usual. My makeup stays on perfect for like 4 hours and then the foundation gets faded a little, but not completely. I really like each and everything this stuff does and I am glad I got this!

Would I Repurchase/Recommend thebalm TimeBalm Face Primer?
Yes, I would for sure! It is an amazing primer and does everything that it claims. It can be used alone as well as under makeup so it’s a two-in-one product. The primer market is pretty niche, hence this one definitely has the potential to become a woman’s HG primer.
It is a wonder product for no matter what type of skin you have. But it is the best for oily skin, so people with oily skin pick this one up without a doubt.
