TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner Review

I got the duo of Bed head Elasticate shampoo and conditioner. According to me, we should use shampoo and conditioner from the same brand only. As I have already told you guys, I am a big fan of Bed Head products and they work great on me. So let’s begin with the review on Elasticate Conditioner…

Price: Rs 850 for 200ml

TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner

Ingredients:

TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner

Product Description:
For those that want super charged strength. Take your hair to the next level with TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Conditioner a breakage resistance conditioner. Packed with proteins and elastin for strong flexible anti-snap hair.

Packaging:
Conditioner comes in a test tube shaped plastic bottle which has a translucent effect so that you can see how much product has been used. It is a bright green colored bottle and the product is white in color. I really like the cap of bottle. We need to push it down to release the product. This is hygienic and travel friendly.

My Take on TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner:

This is a white creamy conditioner with medium consistency. I find this conditioner like any usual conditioner. It is meant to be an everyday conditioner so it’s not going to give deep intensive hydrating treatment. The cream is not too thick and easily gets off with water. I pair it with the coordinating shampoo which I love more than the conditioner.

TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner

This conditioner makes my hair extremely manageable and softens them. It doesn’t weigh my hair down infact it really adds strength to them. My hair is left feeling moisturized to some extent but they do feel really soft and shiny. My hair is a bit dry and it works ok for me.

TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner

I wish it hydrated my hair more and made them super moisturised but obviously it is not a deep conditioning treatment.
Also it claims to cut the frizziness and avoid breakage which clearly didn’t work on me. Yes, my hair does get extremely manageable but it doesn’t help curb the frizziness. I am disappointed about it and will have to search for some styling product to tame them. I wish this conditioner could do cut the frizziness too that way I would have avoided one more product.

Pros of TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner:

• Makes hair soft and shiny.
• Easily gets off with water.
• Makes hair manageable.
• Doesn’t weigh my hair down.
• If paired up with coordinating shampoo, gives good results.

Cons of TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner:

• Didn’t help me with breakage.
• Didn’t cut frizziness.
• Doesn’t super moisturize the hair.

IMBB Rating: 3.75/5

Would I Repurchase TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner?
Probably Yes! Because I love the shampoo way too much so I will use the conditioner from the same range. Or I will ask my hairdresser if he suggests some better conditioner which will cut frizziness and handle breakage from the Bed Head range.

Would I Recommendation TIGI Bed Head Elasticate Strengthening Conditioner?
Yes you can go ahead with these Bed Head products but I will always suggest you to ask your hair dresser first. Tell them your hair type and condition so that they can suggest what goes best for your hair type.

  1. I agree with you Amisha, I too am a firm believer that the shampoo and the conditioner should be of the same brand. Hence whenever I with to change my shampoo, I change I conditioner too.
This conditioner looks good but I would have bought it instantly if it could tame frizziness. :/
