Long long back, in a frenzy, I ordered a dozen of Tips& toes lipstick, thinking “arey,these are so pocket-friendly, and have been around since my mother must have started using lipstick, why not try them” By sheer guess work, i ordered some shades, most of them turned out wearable but all of them smell weird and coconut-ty :/

The lipstick is packaged like Lotus Herbals Pure Color Lipsticks,and come with a cute carton. The plastic feels quite cheap and the lipstick itself looks cheap and the color of course, not so wearable.It does smell of coconut oil but for the cost, also makes me wonder what must have gone into the making of this lipstick.

Now coming to good part, the lipstick extremely smooth, creamy and pigmented,the color is a shocking pearly/mildly frosty party pink,it is more like a fuchsia for me. The color has a glaze finish to it not matte or creamy but it has no obvious shimmer to it.The glaze could be blotted off on a tissue and made matte but this is out and out a gaudy pink shade used for party or bridal wear. 😛

The staying power is not bad, honestly and even though it is a pink, the color does not stain, The lipstick is thick and does not bleed and does not need a lip liner either. Except the silver glaze to it, the lipstick is not bad apart from the fact that you wont wear this shade often.

Last word:

I ordered it online and had no idea about the shade.You could try it if you want to try some bright fuchsia pinks without a hurting the pocket much. It is quite creamy and pigmented for the price I paid for it.
