Body skin type: Normal to dry
How are you doing today? Wish you all a very Happy Ugadi and Gudi Padwa; may this year bring joy and glory to your lives. I am here to share a review of a body wash, which needs no introduction as the brand name says it all. Now, who does not know “Tocca”, a leading Italian brand founded by independent, travel-inspired group of friends on their holiday which inspires millions across the globe? I love this brand for their edgy products as I have tried their perfumes and hand creams. Do you remember the love story of an Italian director Federico Fellini and Giulietta? This time, they came up with a sweet, floral body wash to make us fall in love with this magical romantic story again. And, you know how much I love romantic stories; I had to get it. So, let’s read more about Tocca Giulietta Bagno Profumato Body Wash!

Our Stella Bagno Profumato is a gentle cleansing wash that conditions with the natural essences of olive oil, honey and calendula extracts. A rich lather washes cleanly, leaving even the most sensitive skin soft, supple and lightly fragranced of Italian blood orange.
Stella – As tempestuous and moody as a rebellious young Italian beauty, Stella attracts your senses with a flirtatious, fresh fragrance. The classic scent perfectly captures the refreshing and uplifting spirit of the Italian blood orange with its slightly sweet, fresh scent.
Pair with our Crema da Corpo, a lightweight body lotion, for a luxurious ritual.

My Experience with Tocca Giulietta Bagno Profumato Body Wash:
The Tocca Giulietta Bagno Profumato Body Wash comes in a simple, semi-opaque plastic bottle packaging with a flip top opening. I totally adore its sleek and travel-friendly packaging along with a sweet floral scent which reminds me of tulip gardens. It has a strong floral smell which is milder for our sense and not overpowering, thankfully; it might feel stronger for a few minutes after which it fades onto sweet notes lingering on for hours but, it is hardly noticeable. I won’t call it an exclusive feminine scent as I feel faded masculine notes after few minutes; this also explains why my husband admits using it every single day in the shower. 😛
The body wash is quite a runny and transparent fluid which gives enough lather on loofah as well as in the bath. Tocca claims, it is a mild cleanser which gently cleanses our body without ripping off the natural moisture and hydration but, I do feel a slight, slippery layer on my skin while rinsing it off. I believe it is pretty normal for any product formulated with sulphates, unlike the ones that contain naturally derived ingredients. Moreover, it only feels for a moment and washes off quickly, so no further concerns.
I absolutely love using it in my bath time considering I am a sucker for scented bath products and this is what you need to pamper yourself after a long stressful day or any other day 😉 I just need a warm water tub and Tocca Giulietta body wash to make my day; it creates an imaginary greenery ambience around me as I dive deep into the sweet floral notes of tulips and green apple flavour. Not to mention, my skin feels soft and squeaky clean post bath and I can easily skip body lotions and deodorants for good hours.
Considering I am midway in pregnancy, I never find it tricky for my changing skin type and senses so far. Like I said earlier, I feel a strong floral scent upon opening the lid which soon fades onto milder notes, thereby lingering on like faded memories, nothing nauseating or significant for that matter. In fact, I find it much needed this time to make me sane again, forgetting all pregnancy blues and nausea anxieties. However, it is always good to ask your doctor before trying these products, especially if you are expecting; I did ask my doctor and she had no issues with it. Happy me! 🙂 I am repurchasing the body wash again since summers are approaching; it is a much-needed product to simplify our everyday body cleansing task.
I would definitely recommend it to everyone, especially if you adore mild scented floral bath products and won’t mind the presence of sulphates or other chemicals in your body care products. However, I use it occasionally, so I am fine with the formula so far. Also, it does not contain parabens, which is great!

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Tocca Giulietta Bagno Profumato Body Wash?
Well, I do feel the price is a bit on the higher side, but considering a little drop goes a long way, I would call it a one-time investment for months!
