Tocca Stella Crema Da Mano Hand Cream Review

Hello Beautifuls 🙂

Hope all of you are doing fine and enjoying IMBB with your cuppa tea and snacks. No wonder, IMBB replaced our usual morning refreshments slowly, at least I am more obsessed with IMBB now and always check it even before other social updates with my morning bed tea. 😛

Tocca Stella Crema Da Mano Hand Cream Review

Anyway, today I am here to share another temptation from Tocca Beauty, a luxurious and rich hand cream aka Tocca Stella Crema Da Mano Hand Cream. However, I am not a fan of this Italian Blood Orange smell and I prefer Tocca Giulietta Crema Da Mano Hand Cream anytime. Let’s read in detail about Tocca Stella Crema Da Mano Hand Cream.

Product Description:

Our Stella Crema da Mano is a moisturizing, quick absorbing hand cream enriched with natural extracts from shea butter, avocado oil and aloe. The rich cream will leave your skin feeling soft, silky and lightly fragranced of Italian blood orange. This hand cream is perfect for travel or anyone on the go.

Price:

$10 for 2 Oz(60 ml) and $20 for 4 Oz(120 ml) hand cream. My hubby bought the set and got 2 hand cream tubes of 1 Oz each for $10.

My Experience with Tocca Stella Crema Da Mano Hand Cream:

This temptation comes in light orange peach tube packaging with tight lock cap. It does smell strong like Italian blood orange and I can also relate its smell to our Indian flower “Genda” or “Marigold” to great extent. I remember while my mum used to make garlands of these flowers during diwali and other festivities, I used to sneeze and stay away from these yellow flowers. I am sensitive to this smell since then. 😛 Over all, it’s quite user friendly and travel friendly stuff.

Well, other than the smell I like everything about this hand cream like Giulietta. Thankfully, now I am grown up and not very sensitive to this smell, but I still prefer Giulietta over Stella. Moreover, the smell only stays for few minutes and I can manage with it as long as I am engaged with work and not sniffing or thinking about marigold flowers post using this hand cream. 😛

The texture of hand cream is truly luxurious and rich without being greasy. It is so thick and rich that it gives an instant boost of moisture to my hands. Along with this, it don’t feel greasy or makes my hands sweat. I mostly use it during the day as I cannot sleep with the smell.

I feel it is lesser rich than Giulietta, yet hydrates really well and gives me soft supple hands for good 5-6 hours. I say so because Giulietta often makes my hands sweat while I don’t notice any sweating with this cream. Hence, I feel it might work for summers as well, since it gets absorbed easily with no residue behind. Hence, it provides ample moisture and silk touch to our hands.

I wish the smell could have been little rosy or sweet and not this tangy one. Since, I am not really fond of its smell, I don’t find it fresh or soothing. I can see that it has “Sodium Hylauronate” as one of the ingredients which also explains its ample hydration and youthful effect on my skin and that is the reason I like to use it despite of its smell. 😛

It really gives me soft, youthful skin with no flaws and dryness at all. I guess I’ll carry it to my trip as there is more need of something rich yet non-sticky, non-greasy like this hand cream. I would say if you like the smell of marigold aka ‘genda’ flower than you should definitely check it out, otherwise, try other variants.

• Does not feel greasy or sticky on my normal skin.
• Immediately sinks into skin with gentle massage stroke with no greasy residue behind.
• Does not make my hands sweaty.
• Gives ample hydration and youthful skin for good 5-6 hours.
• No need to reuse even after washing hands.
• A true luxury treat for hands and our vanity bag.

Cons of Tocca Stella Crema Da Mano Hand Cream:

• If only that smell was not an Italian blood orange aka desi genda flower. 😛
• It might not treat parched/over dry skin.

IMBB Rating:

4.3/5

Well, I feel these luxury creams are more like pampering treat for your soft normal hands and not for parched skin. I am not sure if I would consider it again, but I will definitely consider other Tocca Hand Creams for my hand care regime.

  1. Neetu… Lovely review. Atleast the quality is superb, apart from the smell; even i cannot stand the smell of too much genda phool too near me; but then as i said… The quality is good
