My Experience with Tom Ford Eye Shadow Blend Brush 13:
I adore Tom Ford brushes. They really put a dent in your pocket, but I don’t have a single bad brush from Tom Ford and despite being used, abused, washed and dried – they look as gorgeous and work just fabulously when I bought them new. This is #13 brush.
It is very similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Blending Brush, but this is rounder and a tad denser than the former. This brush has a black handle, gold ferrule and white goat bristles. It is a fab “go-to” eyeshadow blending brush. This is the kind of brush that you would always reach for if you are an eyeshadow lover.
I use it for blending the eyeshadows, as an overall wash, for smokey eyes, for blurring the edges of the shadows, for applying powder all over the lid, for applying concealer underneath, for applying concealer/powder around the nose areas. I mean it is the kind of brush that I make a lot of use out of. It picks up the product well and because of its shape, you can pick more or less depending on your preference.
I have washed it countless times and neither has it shed any bristles nor has it lost its shape. It is not too fluffy so it gives me control over blending and does not go all over the place.
The only thing I would say about this brush is that it is quite a “dupe-able” brush. Unless you really want a Tom Ford brush in your kit, I think a whole lot of similar brushes at a fraction of a price are available in the market. It is a gorgeous brush, but I feel it is too expensive for what it is. Love it, but I wish that it was not as expensive since it is not the most unique brush.
I would highly recommend it as a treat to yourself since it is not the brush that would just sit pretty on your dresser . You would be able to find a whole lot of use out of it because it is so versatile.
